Top of the Ticket

April 26, 2011 |  3:18 am
In politics, what you're really doing is often much less important than what it looks like you're really doing.

And with only 560 days left until the voters' next verdict, President Obama is rapidly painting himself into a public-relations corner with an ongoing series of possibly accidental gaffes that are accumulating in the public mind.

And the biting humor repertoire of late-night comics: "Donald Trump says he's President Obama's worst nightmare," Jay Leno said last night. "No. Having to make a decision is President Obama's worst nightmare."

I wanted to excerpt the entire article -- if you read anything today, read this article.   Great summary of the Messiah's piss poor judgement calls.

Since when did it take an act of congress to get at your birth certificate.

Sitting next to his wife, Michelle, Obama told Winfrey that he asked a favor, in a way, from the Aloha State.

"I said to my team, look, even though this is not usually what the state of Hawaii does. Even though the Republican governor of Hawaii, the Democratic governors of Hawaii, all the various officials had confirmed that I was born here, let's ask them for a special dispensation where they will go ahead and provide us with the original to see if we can put this to rest," Obama told the talk-show host.

ETA:..Winfrey asked the president whether he ever doubted where he was born. Obama used the question as an opportunity to deliver a joke.

"When it first came up, were you thinking, 'I hope I was born here?' " Winfrey asked.

"Can I just say I was there, so I knew," Obama replied. "I knew I had been born. I remembered it."

"Of course you did," Winfrey said.

You idiots...he was serious...:lmao:...excuse me...he was series... :lmao:

he probably remembers a white doctor slapping his ass and that planted the seed in his infantile mind that all whites are racist.
