I'm used to seeing WWJD threads, but that's uncomfortable to the godless commies on the island. So they choose to channel the patron saint of drugs and revolution: Abbie Hoffman. Surely he will know what to do!

What would Abbie Hoffman do to stop the Koch brothers?
He levitated the Pentagon, brought down Lyndon B. Johnson, shamed Richard Nixon, challenged Wall Street and pioneered a cultural revolution.
Sometimes I still hear his Brooklyn meets Boston accent when I think about Abbie Hoffman, his family or his legacy. I directed “Steal This Movie†to capture what I consider to be Abbie’s greatest gift: using satire and culture to impact and inspire people to take action. “Steal This Movie†was the last narrative film I did, and Abbie inspires me to this day.
Abbie died 22 years ago this month and that’s got me thinking about what he would do to stop the Koch brothers.

Abbie died 22 years ago this month and that’s got me thinking about what he would do to stop the Koch brothers.
Whatever he does, I hope it involves being hit in the head with a guitar.

Whatever he would do, it would have as much effect as eveything he did before ODing himself out, which is zero.
He was a totally wasted, drug-addled publicity hound, who had had zero influence on anything.
In other words, a democrat icon.

Take some drugs, try to score with some skanky hippie chicks (and guys?) and mooch or outright steal more money to buy more drugs?

He'd bluff and bluster, whine and whinge, stomp his feet and wail. Just like any other DUmmie.

Abbie was a classic DUmmie. No real concept of reality. His mind ravaged by years of drugs.
Yeah. He would be at the DUmp today if he were alive.

Abbie was their hero because he thought you should not have to work...and there were several terms for non-workers but this one fits the DUmmies.
Parasite single ....term for a single person who lives with their parents until their late twenties or early thirties in order to enjoy a carefree and comfortable life. In English, the expression "sponge" or "basement dweller" may sometimes be used.
