Doesn't that just say it all? Boycott? To the barricades? In the streets?
Naw, just sit on your fat asses munching your Cheetos banging on your keyboards like a chimpanzee.

A chance to help folks, without leaving your chair
I came across someone today who is doing what he can to help others find their adoptive parents or kids. Been chatting with him a spell and wanted to pass along the web site. A one man machine driven by:
1998
10-12-1998 We started this website as a tool to help my wife, Danna, find her birth family and her medical history. We had looked at other web pages and there were good ones out there but most were a struggle to use. There were often costs associated with the search.
We made a lot of mistakes as we searched for her birth family, and we thought that there had to be another way. We decided to build our own site to find her birth family, and also, to have a resource for others who were at various stages in their journey.
The registry first started out with Minnesota births. That only lasted for a week or two and then we got the first request to add a new state. Before long we had all of the states in the USA.*snip* Blah blah blahdity blah
Oh 'scuse me, don't get up. Just sit there like usual.

I don't have a dog in that fight at all, so maybe I don't understand, but I just hate to hear these stories about people hunting down "birth parents" like they're fugitives.
It seems to me that all this searching business does is promote abortion. If a girl has a terrible problem, unwilling to accept responsibility for a child, and facing a decision on what to do, knowing that it might come back decades later to possibly cause tremendous embarrassment might factor into deciding to just terminate the pregnancy. If people want the adoptee to be able to contact them, it's not hard to do, as I understand it. If they don't want to be contacted, seems to me they should be left alone. The talk about "medical background" is baloney. "Birth parent" searches are a wonderful marketing tool for abortion mills.
I've never been involved with either an adoption or an abortion, so the emotions involved are way outside my experience, but from an unemotional standpoint that's how it looks to me.

Tell you the truth I really didn't read the full post, I just thought the headline said it all about the keyboard commandos.
