Wisconsin's physician licensing panel is investigating eight physicians who have been accused of writing phony doctors' notes excusing anti-Scott Walker protesters from work while attending rallies at the state capital in February.
In a press release, the Department of Regulation and Licensing (DRL) and the Medical Examining Board (MEB) announced:
Based on information provided by various complainants, DRL identified 11 people who were asked to provide an explanation to the department about their activities at the Capitol.

We can only hope the panel is seriously interested in getting to the bottom of the fake notes issue, instead of in covering up any abuses.

I sure those doctors will be high on the list when the teachers want some drugs prescribed for them. I mean after all, what's one violation of ethics compared to another?
