Kloppenburg has filed for a recount!
Just posted this in LBN, too, story from WKOW:

MADISON (WKOW) -- JoAnne Kloppenburg for Supreme Court Justice campaign has just arrived at the Government Accountability Board's office to file papers for a recount.
The campaign plans to hold a news conference at 4:00 Wednesday afternoon.

36. I hope they find someone they can trust... to do the recount!
I'm sure the union will be happy to count the votes.

A fool and his money. :lmao:

No sweat. Karl has had the recount covered since the day after the election.
-
There was another DUmmie thread talking about a "free" recount, but I thought the margin of victory was too high.
-
Excellent - once Prosser is certified the winner, the entertainment value at the island will go up by at least tenfold. Some will call the result rigged, others will get super depressed, and all of the primitives who are saying this is necessary to restore faith in elections today, will say it restored nothing - Even though 'winsconsin' has all the ingredients in place that the primitives demanded after the 2000 election.

After the canvassing was complete it was just short of the .5% (I believe it was .488%) needed for the candidate to not have to pay for the recount.
And it isn't a "free recount" we taxpayers are paying for it. And Kloppenburg is going to court tomorrow to try and get a hand recount (otherwise it would automatically be a machine recount under state law).
There is little chance even the hacks who gave Stuart Smally a senate seat could make up 7,000 + votes. This is a temper tantrum/delaying tactic. When Kloppenburg had an unofficial 204 vote lead the day after the election, she declared the people had spoken. Now she doesn't like what they had to say.
Day after day, since Scott Walker was elected Governor, I despise the left more and more.

She has Nancy Pelosi crazy eyes.
-
How embarrassing. Just tuck your tail between your legs and go home. You lost.
-
I won't stop worrying until the recount is settled in Prosser's favor. I do not trust DemonRats at all. Knowing how involved the unions were only makes it more likely for some cheating to take place.

Oh hell yes, Misk! They're gonna start demanding another paper trail! 7000 votes ain't exactly Swiss Cheese! I can't believe she is even contesting it! Not sure she wants them to start scrutinizing votes either!
Uh, how many buses came from out of state on election day? Ya sure ya want to have a recount, bitch? The only cheatin' I'm aware of is belongs to you low lifes!
Must have a pile of Union money left over! Unless of course she has been takin' bribes in the lower court. Naw! They don't do that in WI.! Gotta be a "mis-understandin'", just like all those dems in Obwana's cabinet who missed payin' their taxes!
Has the union asked for it's money back yet, or are they just goin' to bide their time and wait for ya to get elected as Pooper Scooper?

Definitely agree.

They can get this dude from the FloriDUH 2000 recount to help with a manual recount!

She has Nancy Pelosi crazy eyes.
Have you heard her speak? If you had an image in your head what a wide-eyed, left wing, Prius driving, no front yard having*, tree hugging, gaia worshipping moonbat sounds like...it would be her. When she speaks, I do not think "judge", I think "granola".
One possible reason for opting for the recount? She still wants to be invited to the right (or left) parties in Madison. Had she not asked for the recount she would have become persona non grata to the lefties. Now she is the darling of the lefties/unionistas and even if the recount fails to overturn the results she will be the local version of AlGore. Although not as fat.
A final thought for the lefties. How many meals would the money being used to pay for the recount provide for those in need. Their hunger is on your hands. (Hey if they can say crap like that why not us once in a while?)
*she is against them and has a tomato garden instead.
-
It doesn't matter if they do a recount or not. DUmmies will never accept the result that Prosser won.

Oh for pete's sake! I've had bowls of frosted flakes smarter than this idiot! The state (i.e. the citizens who didn't want the skank in the first place) pays. Granted I'm sure she's got to pay the union bosses to manufacture the extra votes but why the hell would you pay for something like this? Wouldn't that donation be better spent by a homeless shelter? Or taking a member of the working poor grocery shopping? How about buying school supplies for Palestinian children? Or buying clothing for a women's shelter? A couple of extra trash cans for Planned Parenthood?
To the left compassion has to have a union label.

I read this morning that even though the state will pay for the recount, both sides will be hiring lawyers. In cases of recounts like this, it's not unusual for the candidates to spend more on the lawyers for the recount than they did on the campaign.

I hope the unions go all in and Kloppy's lawyers pad their hours. Every dollar they waste on a recount that will not change (should not change) the result is a dollar less spent on the recalls and the elections in 2012.

You forget that DUmmies are prone to lie. The possibility exists that there was no donation.
