* Impaired perception
* Diminished short-term memory
* Loss of concentration and coordination
* Impaired judgement
* Increased risk of accidents
* Loss of motivation
* Diminished inhibitions
* Increased heart rate
* Anxiety, panic attacks, and paranoia
* Hallucinations
* Damage to the respiratory, reproductive, and immune systems
* Increased risk of cancer
* Psychological dependency
If I asked my Doctor he'd say the same thing. Some of these things are common sense like "Increased risk of accidents" and "Loss of motivation". Some others make good logical sense like damage to respiratory systems.

1. Even if that was true it would be worth it.

3. And still less dangerous than aspirin.
You funny.
Perhaps if this DUmmie posted a source...oh wait....

18. As it is with every drug (whether it's over the county or illegal)...
If you take too much, it will impact you.
I don't smoke pot (my job drug tests), but I have and have no problem with the legalization of it. However, I also have hung out with friends who've been smokin' since junior high on more than just a recreational basis and they're like tree stumps.
Complete morons.
But at least they're funny. And have a lot of good food lying around.
I'm not surprised. I also wonder what this "good food" is.

13. Huh? Who pinned the McGruff crime badge on you?
And as was said earlier, even if all that bs, and it is bs. I'm high right now and I'm not hallucinating, my heart rate is nice and mellow, and I'm definitely not paranoid. No one's out to get me - I'm not worth it.
But even if all that were true, it would be worth it. Oh yeah!

25. It turns kids into smelly hippies and is associated with leftist beliefs
Marijuana prohibition is an effective way of checking liberalism by targeting free-thinkers while they are still young.
The drug wars in general have been used to disenfranchise the left and minorities by creating non-victim felons who can't vote.
I'm liberal, I've never smoked pot. In my experience the kids who smoked pot were the ones who didn't care about things like politics.

23. Gotta love the one about "increased risk of cancer"
Even though the latest evidence points to cannabis being a cancer inhibitive.

This is one of those instances where one really really really misses the maudlin waif, the "Mythsaje" primitive, the one who dislikes cops because he was always getting caught with pot.
-
Taverner's got a couple of kids, and he's sitting around high.
I just don't get the wide appeal of this stuff. I smoked a little in college. The cotton mouth was agony. The paranoia was awful. So, I tended to clam right up. Not exactly the life of the party, or a sparkling conversationalist, as opposed to say, having a few drinks.
The DUmmies can have their pot. I'll pass (in more ways than one).

I hear ya on the cotton mouth; the few times I'd tried it I felt as though I had been eating cotton balls covered with peanut butter and dipped in molasses.

Hard to say if that's an effect of the drug, or because they're habitual felons.
-
I never got cotton mouth, but what I did get from smoking was an insatiable craving for M&Ms and mad skills at Halo. Other than that, never seemed much different than drinking.
-
Smoke your pot DUmmies. The rest of us can tell when we look you in your eyes that there ain't nobody home.
-
I'm just a lowly engineer and tend to look at results of experiments to make a judgment. Let's look at the experiment called the DUmp.
1. Most DUches smoke pot.
2. Most DUmbasses are unsuccessful.
While I do not have a control group of DUmmys that do not smoke pot, I'm 95% confident that those that do not are more successful than those that do.

But wait! I thought the DUmmies were all science-minded. It's the whole basis for algore's global warming scam.
