Title: Bad parenting, peer pressure, media or marketing and retail. who is to blame???
Post by: seahorse513 on April 19, 2011, 05:46:26 PM
Seriously, think about this. When one goes out in public, what kind of an image do you want you and/or  your family want to portray???

Working at Walmart I see all kinds... Sometimes I want to say, do you look in the mirror, before you walk out the door??

This guy made a few good points. Mom and dad, you are parents, not your child's bff!!

The media(female entertainers)don't help any.
Schools have strict dress codes, and retailers are selling clothes these kids can't wear to school. It is a nightmare!!

The author does make some good points.  At least I think so since I agree with him.   :)

I cannot imagine dressing my kids like "baby prostitutes."  (That's what we used to call 'em)

Parents try too much to be their children's friends. Sadly, this can result in tragic consequences.
