What happened to Allosaurus and Ree?? I haven't seen them posting for quite awhile... I hope they are ok...
-
They're still registered here, and good to post.
One assumes they have things going on in real life.
One also reasonably assumes they'll be back after real life settles down for each of them.
-
I'm kind of worried about Ree. She dropped me on Facebook. Has she done that to anyone else?

Ree was having health issues and said she would not be online much. Not sure about Allosaurus.

Could be anything. Almost everyone here take their time off. I have also notice other users do not post as much or stop coming altogether.

I've slowed down. I've moved three trailers (18 ft) of stuff between MI and TN in the past two months. I've made the round trip five times. Between shooting every Sun and Wed., I'm pooped.
I still try and read everyday though.

Yeah, I thought you were busy with that.
But you're missed, badly.
However, real life is more important than internet life, so carry on, sir.

Thanks. I miss all Y'All too.
I'm loving going back home though. NE TN is a conservatives paradise.

How many more trips do you have to make, Tucker?

I'm coming down Tues. next and staying for two weeks. I bringing my wife and Dog back. I then gotta ride my bike down and drive her blazer back. I'm leaving my bike down there. It'll be there when I come back in a few months. We will finish up and leave the house sparsely furnished and then move down, waiting for the house to sell. When it sells, I'm looking at six trailer full of stuff.

SIX trailers? Holy Schnikeys!!!!!

I have to consider weight as well as volume. My reloading stuff, 4 safes and all the guns will more than max out one trailer. Probably closer to two as the safes will have to be over the axles. I have 4 reloading presses set up in the basement. I have 10K rounds for each gun I own. I own over 50 guns. That's a lot of weight. Now I have a formal office, dinning room, kitchen, living and family room downstairs. Bedrooms upstairs. Two story Barn/garage.
Shit. I hope I can do it in six.
-
Dang Tucker! I am tired just reading that.
Real life is keeping me hoppin right now but I'm usually here everyday.
-
Moving sucks.
No other way to put it. It just plain sucks.
Tuck, my hat's off. You're doing it all yourself. Gotta be a medal in it for you when it's all done. :usflag:

Well those safes will kill ya. It's all about weight distribution. :-)
Still totally sucks.

You have my sympathies....as it's been said...moving sucks and there's just no other way to describe it no matter what the circumstances.
Be safe and check in when you can...

Whadda ya want? I ain't Mr. Incredible! Oh, did I mention I'm still Papa Daycare?
I haven't abandoned you degenerates yet! Spring has sprung! hehehehhe!!!

When I was laid off in 80/81, I worked for a moving company. I did both local and cross country.
I figure I'm saving about 4 grand after my expenses.

Having just moved 8.5 miles in September....you are saving more. :bawl:

That is hard freakin' work. Reminds me of something, but please note I'm not comparing you to the smelliest guys in the world who are Russians who come to Germany to work. Since baths are optional in Russia (not to mention most places in Europe), the place was overrun in funk.
Gawd. :p
I had to leave the apartment while they were packing and schlepping. Truly gaggified stuff.

I'm a genuine American Hillbilly. I take a bath every week whether I need it or not.

Sorry to hear about your family friend.
Regardless of your regrettable spelling, punctuation, grammar, and usage, I hope you guys are okay. :(

Where are you in NE TN? My sister lives there and loves it for the conservatism!

Greeneville area.

Greeneville area.
She lives in Mt. Juliet. In fact, Chris' friends who just adopted that adorable little girl from overseas live in Mt. Juliet, too.

Well, I never was very good in geography. She lives northeast of Nashville and that hardly seems to be in the northeast part of the state; more like north central. In fact, it's not even close to where you will be living.
Excuse me for my blondness.

Maybe one day when I have an extra 10 hours for the round trip, I'll drive over that way. :-)
