An Orange County (Calif.) Republican Party official is under fire after sending an email with an altered photo depicting President Barack Obama as an ape.

The email, sent Friday afternoon by party central committee member Marilyn Davenport, depicts a family portrait-style image of apes with Obama's face superimposed on one of them. The photo is accompanied by text that reads, "Now you know why no birth certificate."

A mailer reportedly circulated by Marilyn Davenport, a member of the central committee of the Orange County Republican Party, is being blasted as racist

I have to admit the birth  certificate comment is funny.   That said,  remember this little gem from the TN democratic party?

Which was a much higher level of disgusting.

After all the pictures the Left paraded about with President Bush as a chimp...I find I have no sympathy for their outrage.

Pfft.  You don't even have to go back that far.  Wonkette's recent attack on Sarah Palin's son Trig is just another example in a long line.
