Women who do not wear headscarves are being threatened with violence and even death by Islamic extremists intent on imposing sharia law on parts of Britain, it was claimed today.
Other targets of the 'Talibanesque thugs', being investigated by police in the Tower Hamlets area of London, include homosexuals.
Stickers have been plastered on public walls stating: 'Gay free zone. Verily Allah is severe in punishment'.

That is an idea!! Unfortunately, England has a huge muslim population, I know some other countries have higher muslim populations, but compare land masses.

The Europeans have finally awoken to the dangers of large Muslim minorities poised at the heart of their national interests and alot of them are trying to turn the tide. I hope it's not too late for them to preserve their own cultural heritage.
Ah, I read the entire linked article and saw the mention made of the French. The French government has forbidden any wearing of the hijab or other religious clothing in schools, for one thing. I think in the interests of "fairness" they also banned crosses, yarmulkes and the like, but really, the aim of the law was to attempt to rein in the fundie Muslim population. They're being overrun with Algerians, Moroccans and other Muslims and that's NOT a good thing.

I wasn't 100% sure myself, but someone and commented up above ire: France. I was talking to my mum, and in France, at the international airports, the women have to remove their head dress, and the muslims are up in arms about it...

The French Government have to step in and say you can do this in the privacy of your own home, yard, mosque, or whatever, but you can't barricade public sidewalks , roads , bend down and pray.

well saying bad things about they're so called religion starts riots. I think forcing them to change they're dress will get the same results. question really is will the French gov stand up and fight back if confronted??? I doubt it since they don't want world condemnation and there are many place's in France and the UK the police just won't go into.
