Source: Albany Times Union

An eastern Pennsylvania jury has convicted a former U.N. weapons inspector from Delmar, who was nabbed in an online sex sting, on all but one count.

Jurors in Monroe County convicted Scott Ritter, 49, on six of seven counts, including unlawful contact with a minor.

3. Don't contradict The Man

He will cook up shit on you.

Yeah, like undeniable internet video of you pulling your pud during a chat with someone you believe to be underage.

4. True

but it helps not to be guilty.

Ouch!  Even I felt that one.

5. More thought crime

From the linked article, Ritter's conviction included "unlawful contact with a minor." Then, later in the article, it says he "exchanged explicit messages with a detective posing as an underage girl." In other words, no real crime. Only thought crime.

So you're against stopping sexual predators before they irrevocably destroy the life of at least one minor.  Got it.

16. Precisely, and the charges do smell bad, imho. K&R n/t

That's because Ritter got jizz all over them.

7. how would they know if he masturbated while talking...

...to the adult man who was posing as an underage girl for purposes of entrapment?

Hmmmmmmm?????

What a crock.

It's called "video chat."  Also, a lot of people who have challenged their arrests on "To Catch a Predator" have argued "entrapment."  NONE of them have succeeded.

9. Supposedly video chat

Supposedly?  You speak as if the explicit 20 minute video isn't a piece of evidence.

11. So it was a one-way video chat?

It certainly could be, sparky.  Not every computer has a webcam to send video, but they all can receive it.

And supposedly "he" (agent) was posing as a girl? I could understand if this was only text messages, but audio and video and that sort of interaction was "faked"? Hmm....

Yep.  Cops have been doing it for years.

After this, there are a few more "How did they know he was masturbating?" and "BushCheney/theMan/thePowersThatBe are after him" comments.  Clueless twats.  Some amusing comments, though:

13. Ritter is a giant in physical stature, quite a person/presents.

Yes, giant Christmas presents!

This isn't the first time he got busted for this, it really is hard to imagine he would do something like this.

Wait.  The parsing of that sentence is very confusing.  It's not the first time he's been caught doing this, so that makes it hard to imagine that he did it again?  Yeah, because everyone who is currently in prison is a first-time offender.  People learn their lessons and never again return to their lives of crime.  FFS!!!

they finally got him with something. Now he cannot criticize the MIC and war mongers in govt. Just sad

I smell mole.  Clue #1: under 1000 posts.  Clue #2: "****" is censored.  Clue #3: disagrees with the Hive mind that Ritter's criticisms are no longer valid.

17. They have him masturbating on vid for what he believed

was a fifteen year old girl. He's done it before? IMHO, more reason to believe these recent charges. It's too bad, but people, in this situation he isn't one of the good guys.

"Show Dick some respect!"

Nothing but silence from the plagiarist Pitt, while his "co-author" is convicted of pedophilia. I wonder why that is.
Sounds like he and Ritter could have been partners in more than just a crappy hate-Dubya pamphlet.

To a liberal, pedophilia is only bad when the monster is a priest.

If the monster is a liberal, then his crimes are perfectly acceptable.

Liberalism has become the focus of evil in the western world.

And isn't a "hate crime", which the libs love to use anytime a ghey or minority is a victim, also only a thought crime?

Isn't Schadenfreude great?

It is, but the article also says that Ritter may not get the max.  I want to see him rot in prison.

If there had been an actual juvenile victim, he would.  For some strange reason I don't think he'll get more than a few years.

Either way, his life is major suckage.

Yep.  Even with minimal jail time, he will bear the shame of the title "convicted pedophile" for the rest of his life.

I would say that is an apt description of what our amusement does to the DUmmies.
