I'll leave out all identifying information, but "someone" was talking about their old neighborhood in NY, basically it's gone from a "mom and pop" type neighborhood to "hoity toity regressive elites" and someone who is Arab and Muslim made this comment "too many of them are bringing their homosexuality (a derogatory name was used) with them".
I just found it interesting because the left if they saw that comment would refuse to condemn statements like this when it's made by Arabs and Muslims.
Just thought I'd note another instance of hypocrisy.

I never understood that, they hate Christians because they hate gays, yet they love muslims who actually hate gays.

It's the old "enemy of my enemy" thinking. Liberals really believe that Christians are their enemies and are actively working to make this country some kind of fascist theocracy. Being absolutely blind to the fact that Muslims actually have quite a few countries that are currently fascist theocracies, they only see that Muslims and Christians disagree on many things, so naturally embrace them as allies.
That's why we call them DUmmies...

When Christians start flying planes into buildings and blowing themselves up then I'll start taking a look at them.
The funny thing is this, Islam is much more restrictive than Christianity, and the 1st victims would be the left, but it seems like the left thinks the chances of Islam creeping into American society are slim so they refuse to focus on them, but tell that to people in the UK, it's not so slim.

1. Christians are benighted and unreasonable
2. Christians hold sway over the most advanced nations of the world
3. Christians have done so through conquest and imperialism
4. All lesser societies are victims
5. Lesser societies are therefore blameless for their plights
And they believe Muslims will be more manageable. After all, those evil European colonials oppressed the Muslims and stole their oil so as soon as the liberals overthrow the old order the Muslims will embrace the liberals as the savior of the brown man.
It reeks of self-congratulating paternalism.

I can call myself anything I want, it doesn't make me a Christian. They would call me a "fundie," but that doesn't make me a fascist, it just means I've actually studied some theology.

This is the best explanation I've seen. Maddening.
Witness the threads at the DUmp, where the subject is female genital mutiliation. Two comments in, and it swerves sharply to male circumcision here in this country, and then the thread is completely hijacked. We learn way more about the DUmmies' junk than we ever wished to know.
