The repubicans want to **** YOU UP.
They want to set the stage so that it is more likely you will die sicker and earlier than you will now.
They want you to get a small check from the government and use it to try to buy health insurance. They want you to find someone who will cover a diabetic with heart problems and cancer. They want you to find affordable care as you have a heart bypass looming. They want you to find some benevolent company who will cover the cost of your heart-lung transplant for a few hundred bucks - maybe a thousand, if you can afford it - a month.
You're good with that, right?
If you're not, then you ought never vote for another repubican again. Because it is now a repubican value to **** YOU UP when you get old.
Once again, it is mostly Stinky just being foul-mouthed and completely wrong.

That's pretty much what you MOTHER****ERS are proposing we do to seniors. Not quite as dramatically, not quite as quickly, not with an actual gun or mask, but the effect of that smug MOTHER****ER, Ryan's hailed plan is essentially that - stealing all her money. Do you REALLY think some insurance MOTHER****ER is going to sell old, sick people cheap but effective insurance? Do you REALLY?????

The DUmmies in general and Stinky in particular once again are demonstrating ZERO knowledge on an issue. Their idea: simply throw money at something and hope it works. There is a chance for meaningful Medicare/Medicaid reform without anyone losing any of their services. Yet the DUmmie demagogues simply don't care and would rather throw out profanities than discuss the issue.

Start with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. He has already been appointed to two key positions: health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research.
Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).
Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).
Yes, that's what patients want their doctors to do. But Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.
Many doctors are horrified by this notion; they'll tell you that a doctor's job is to achieve social justice one patient at a time.
Emanuel, however, believes that "communitarianism" should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. '96).

ObamaCare was designed to take $500BN from medicare over 10 years to pay for 6 yrs of O-care services.

2. What will O-care take from in the 2nd 10yrs when it can no longer steal for 5 yrs to pay for 3 yrs?

Ironically enough that's exactly what you retards advocate if you think said mother has so much as a single brass penny more than is "socially acceptable" to the proletariat.
Just because you don't have the balls to do it yourself , and must demand a government thug do your dirty work doesn't make it any different.

Actually, yes. We both have insurance currently, so should be able to transition to another plan, possibly with the same company, without any problems. We can pick the plan we want instead of making do with what Uncle Sam has chosen. Having seen the level of care extended to Medicare patients compared to insured patients, I'm all for never taking Medicare.
Of course, they'll have to change that law that requires seniors to take Medicare if they want their Social Security... :mental:
