Were any birthers, back around the time that Schwarzenegger became Governor of California ... Updated at 6:52 PM

talking about a need to amend the Constitution so that, like Reagan, he could move into the White House?
For example, I have recently heard Donald Trump's loud mouth. What was he saying back then? Are there any surviving records of his words?
Since the people who thought of that were few and far between, it's doubtful you'll find many birthers now who ever supported such a thing.
And then this is just really sad. Booj kicks himself multiple times over the course of several hours:

I was totally against amending the Constitution when people started talking about Arnold running for President.

Damn right...in this day and age of world travel with any place in the world almost within hours of here, if they want to change it, it should be changed to at least the third generation of immigrants before you can run for president. That's so the cord (connection) to the "old country" is not so strong.
200 years ago when you came to America the cord to the motherland was pretty cut at that point. Not many kids got to return to the old country for a visit. Now days they can jet back and forth often.

That is so funny when they kick their own threads. :lmao:

Moonbat amendments will have tough sledding. DUmmies aren't likely to control the legislatures in three-fourths of the states for the foreseeable future. On the other hand, it's also very unlikely a radical amendment like balanced budget would fare any better. You continually see more evidence of the Framers' divine inspiration.

Absolutely!
I was shocked and appalled in the Presidential campaign to see that no U.S. court was willing to recognize any citizen's legal standing to challenge a candidate's Constitutionally-required prerequisites for the office of President. It essentially rendered the language of our single most foundational legal document meaningless because the court system would not allow anyone to force Obama to prove he met the minimum Constitutional requirements for the office. If it takes a Constitutional amendment to make the clear terms actually enforceable in our crazy-quilt courts, then let's f***ing have one, and throw term and/or age limits for the Legislative branch in the mix while we're at it.
