"The current welfare state is unsustainable". Which is, of course, bullshit. But expect that to be the refrain you continue hearing and expect it to grow louder and louder and be amplified endlessly by the MSM as 2012 approaches.

Yeah that's just a bunch of smoke and mirrors, claiming that spending more and more leads to deficits. The govt can't be broke, they still have checks.

2. My response to that would be- then stop giving it to corporations!

Tell that to GE and GM. Your man has given them billions.

11. Federal Budget is $3.5 trillion, National Wealth is $57 trillion.

That means the federal government just needs 6% of the nation's wealth to cycle through it each year in order to balance the budget. That's right, just 6%. The notion that we're bankrupt is so ludicrous it amazes me it's been taken seriously at all.

Then can we just tax everyone at 6%?

You know another myth?

As an aside with relevance, The number of takers on food stamps has sky rocketed 50% under Obama....but the monthly stipend has gone down about 33%.

Now I know why check cashing scam businesses are so prominent in blue areas. "No honey, we're not broke. Once I pay the 400 dollars for the 300 dollar check I wrote last paycheck, I'll just write another check for 300".

Even if it were bullshit it's immoral to take someone else's money. Generally that's considered theft.
