And God Almighty, it's going to feel good. Petro Truckstop-Iron Skillet. Just had my piss test yesterday, so it's only a matter of time before the free, and clear results come back, and I'm a member of the workforce again! With a 78% Unemployment rate for my kind of disabled people, I'm again beating the odds. (even though I still live at home. :censored: But that will be remedied as soon as I can possibly do something about it) The job I'm getting, I've already had, so I know the ropes. It's a high stresser, but the point is, I'M WORKING AGAIN!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
-
Congratulations. :II:
If you have any questions about FleetOne, Comdata, or Trendar, PM me.
-
Congrats! that's awesome!
-
Thanks guys. It's going to feel so good to come home dog ass tired, and complaining about my job. :-) On the negative side, you guys won't see as many of my shining, brilliant, intelligent posts on a daily basis. :rotf:
Oh, and I may be able to get some part time over at the Travel store as well.
-
What shift?
-
Rev, that is great news. Really great news! I love the Iron Skillet!
Congratulations Sir! :cheersmate:
-
Congrats man!!!!!
-
Congratulations Rev!

Congratulations Rev! :yahoo:

What shift?
Yet to be determined, sir. I worked 2nd last time I was there, so I can only assume that's what it will be, but honestly, I don't know. I would kind of like to work the graveyard shift since I am a night owl though...

So they're open 24 hours a day?

The Iron Skillet is a haven for the traveler at night.

Congrats!
I think I've been in that truck stop before.
-
Congrats! Greyt job! :cheersmate: :yahoo:
-
That is great. I'm proud of you!
-
Thakns BEG.
Oh, and would you edit that, BSS? Nothing real bad, I just don't want DUmmies seeing my actual name. Privacy reasons. Thanks.
-
Congratulations! This way, it's all good. You're paying your taxes to keep lib scum suckers afloat AND whenever your mom hosts them in the house you have a built in excuse to be absent. :cheersmate:
I don't need the sarcasm thingy about it being good to support scum suckers, right?
-
Congrats, welcome to the dark side.... :-)
-
^ Now I can go all "Darth Maul" on the libtards if ever they "grace" this place with their
hippy scent presence again. :rotf:
And no, Boudicca. There's no need for that.
-
Oops, I'm late to the party again.
Wasn't even aware there was a party going on.
Great news, Revolution, sir. Onward and upward to the skies!
-
As far as I can go, sir.

Coach got it, but you make a great point. :thatsright:
-
PS: Sorry about the vid though frank. I forgot for a split second. There is a lyrical version floating on YT if you want to know the words to it...
:(
And thanks, Frank.
-
Nice goin', Rev! :cheersmate:
Whatcha gonna be doin' at the Iron Skillet?
-
Dishwasher, and it's a busy bastard too. But I'm looking optimistically now as opposed to the last 2 or 3 yearas. Hey, the place couldn't run without me, and even though it's fast paced, I'm beating the odds on a few different levels. Shit, life couldn't get any better right now. (sure...but you know what I mean."
I'm in tall cotton, and I'm going to try to keep this happy attitude "high" of sorts.
-
Lots of people started out as dishwashers. It's an honest job and you get plenty of exercise. There's not a damn thing wrong with it.
Congratulations.
-
Late to the thread sorry, congratulations though!

Exactly. It sure as hell beats cleaning houses, that's for sure. I say that because I have done both, and I would much rather be a dishwasher. I am so happy for you Rev, I really am.
-
I'm late to the party as well....Congrats Rev!!! :yahoo: I know it'll feel good to work again.
-
Hell yeah. Plus, with those like me out of work, I'm not really embarassed to do...well...ANYTHING at this point. The economy isn't at rock bottom yet IMO with Capitol Hill the way it is. I just have to keep my nose clean, and I have a foot in that door. Hey, I'm not going to be one burdening the economy. I'm contributing!! :yahoo:

Good attitude, Rev! I have dishwasher on my resume also, and still do throw the regular staff out of the dishroom now and then.
-
Gee, Rev, you never informed us you were an illegal alien. :-)
Remember, kids, it's only illegals who will do the work lazy Americans refuse to do. :bird:
My son works 2 part time jobs and one is delivering pizzas. Like you, he's young and grateful to have any work. :cheersmate:

^ Que?
:lmao:

So.....here it is, a few days later.
Have you started yet?
-
Yeah. My orientation was yesterday as scheduled, but they had me come in Tue to fill in for someone. I did well. I just don't sweat the small stuff. (And there's a LOT of soap opera type shit there.) Just in a happy mood mowdays. Tired of being depressed, and downtrodden.
You know sir, it was actually FUN to go back! I work again tomorrow though. I honestly have felt a change in me for the better. It's odd to describe, but I can feel it there. This is one of the many different reasons in my life I believe in God. I just....feel the winds changing for the better. :)

Good, great, excellent, you're a hero, sir.
It's never the job; it's more so that one is doing something.

....and even better, the positive attitude they have doing it...which clearly Rev has. Outstanding job, Rev! :yahoo:
-
Being broke and unemployed is a miserable condition to be in. You can't help but be happy when your situation changes.
-
Damn right, Chris. I just have to keep this mood. To REMEMBER what it was like to be in (my words) my own personal depravity.
Good, great, excellent, you're a hero, sir.
It's never the job; it's more so that one is doing something.
Wouldn't say I'm a hero, Frank, but I appreciate the sentiment very much. Thank you.
-
So good to see you happy, Rev. :yahoo:
-
Thanks Deb. Nice avatar. She's hawt. :naughty:
