One-by-one the Left's favorite canards and cudgels have been swept away by Obama.
First it was deficit-spending, then Gitmo, then on to Iraq and A-stan, extra-judicial killings, the Patriot Act, tax cuts, transparency, war absent congressional cover, etc etc etc.
So what possible indictment against conservatives can the Left turn to in order to claim the moral high ground?
Iran-Contra maybe? Not that I-C was illegal because no member of the Reagan admin was ever charged, let alone convicted of any ofense other than pissing off democrat panty-waists.
But still, the Left gets to complain Reagan used US weapons and personnel to arm separatists of dubious motives without the advise and consent of congress.
Right?
Well...maybe not...
(Reuters) - President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing covert U.S. government support for rebel forces seeking to oust Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, government officials told Reuters on Wednesday.
Obama signed the order, known as a presidential "finding", within the last two or three weeks, according to four U.S. government sources familiar with the matter.
Such findings are a principal form of presidential directive used to authorize secret operations by the Central Intelligence Agency. The CIA and the White House declined immediate comment.

Now, if only Obama was half the president or 1/10 the man that Reagan was.

Young ones are, usually. :-)
We creaky old broads can't indulge in those gymnastics any longer, but then again, in my case, neither can my equally antiquated hubby. :rotf:
