I despise those politicians that are destroying our country.

Primarily, it has been the radical Republican Party with their control of the propaganda. But the Democrats are not blameless. In their silence, they are complicit.

No one had the guts to stand up and say we need to cut the defense budget by 50% immediately. We need to get out of these wars. Our presence in Iraq and Afghanistan is doing nothing to stop terrorism or those that might be planning a dirty bomb in another part of the world. It was folly to go into that forsaken country and it is even more foolish to stay.

No one had the guts, before the last election, to stand up and scream, "Let the Bush taxcuts expire!" Now we have these nuts spread throughout every state spouting their elitist "revolutionary" message. I blame no one but the Democrats for this.

The Republicans must be called on their lies. Barack Obama has not spent more than George W Bush and the Republicans. He inherited a deficit of $1.3 trillion dollars. Once again, like every time before, the Republicans get the old time religion on budget deficits - until they get into the White House again. At the very least, the Democrats should call them on their lies. At the present time, I have little respect for either Party.

Sounds like someone needs more fiber. Too much BS trapped inside.

Cutting defense by 50% would crash the economies in several US cities who rely on the aerospace biz, damage a lot more that make their money supporting major military installations logistically, as well as basically grounding Air Combat Command and pretty much all non-transport air operations worldwide, mothballing 2/3 of the carrier groups and most of the subs, and throwing about half a million military personnel and another half a million civil service employees onto the unemployment rolls (Which would crush that system).

It'd pretty much stick a fork in the economy when you get down to it.  On the plus side, I guess it would make gas cheaper since the military wouldn't be using very much of it.  Doesn't seem like a very good trade-off to me, but then I lack the hyper-sophisticated comprehensive knowledge of everything the DUmmies claim to have.

Cutting defense by 50% would ...
And Obama would still be running deficits over a trillion dollars.

DUmbasses think there is no federal spending except military spending.

Of course.  Not only would the bills for unemployment, DVA, food stamps, etc. go up, the tax base would suddenly have a million taxpayers gone, with probably another million taken out by the cancellation of contracts for goods and services, then another 3-5 million taxpayers chucking much less in the tax pot due to the indirect effects of a million government personnel and a million contractor employees suddenly having no money to spend in their towns and businesses.

I despise those politicians that are destroying our country....

are you referring to the politicians who turn tail and run away to a neighboring state rather than stand and fight for what they believe in, regardless of the odds they face?

You forget that in the DUmmie world for every $1 that is paid out for unemployment & entitlements $1.84 goes back into the economy. It's better than a perpetual motion machine.
