questioned, not a bad thing, on the tv by the right, over and over again everyday every hour. The part I can't take is that it NEVER happens to the other side. When Bush went to war all the right was interviewed over and over again. Now that Obama has gone in to Libya to help, no troops on the ground, the RIGHT is being interviewed over and over again. The left never gets to speak and I'm so sick of it.

The media even allowed the president to be called a liar by a citizen on national tv but you never heard a word about the big liar GW when he was lying his ass off.

How about all the protests from the left? Anti war, labor protests? They get no attention but if a tea-partier farted the news was all over it.

I am so sick of this world.

You asses know how your side treated Bush. Karma is a bitch.

From the AP:

Quote
In his pre-presidential book "The Audacity of Hope," Obama said the U.S. will lack international legitimacy if it intervenes militarily "without a well-articulated strategy that the public supports and the world understands."

He questioned: "Why invade Iraq and not North Korea or Burma? Why intervene in Bosnia and not Darfur?"

Now, such questions are coming at him.

In my opinion everything a president (in my case a prime minister) does should be questioned. Image what they could get away with if stuff wasn't questioned all the time.

That was because he farted toward a dimrat.

I gotta wonder how someone could go through life so drunk and stoned that they were oblivious to the screaming harpies, filthy hippies and renta-crowd vermin for 8 years.

It's not like the media neglected to cover it.

Did anyone watch the presidents weekly comedy show last night?

Was it funny? Or dull like the usual?

I didn't watch it.  I don't want to hear his droning voice.  I can get the encapsulation from people who are paid to sit through that.  I missed nothing.

Diesel Driver, I don't know about Madison, but they did shit in the Ohio capital building.  In Madison, they took to the marble with sharpie pens.

I don't know how anybody wants to be associated with a democrat anymore.

I watched it, he rambled on and said nothing at all, and he came across as condescending which of course is a trait the regressives love.

I watched it.  I don't like Obama, or the fact that he is the CinC, but, well, he is.

I've been vocal that I think Libya, at best, involves two sides that are each roughly equal in terms of what they would do to the other side or plot against us when we were not looking in other words neither side is worth a drop of American blood or a penny of our treasure.  However, I was willing to listen to Obama's reasoning.

President Obama clearly does not understand the implications of his own extremely interventionist foreign policy.  It condenses as follows, "If anyone, anywhere, is being set upon by a government that we label repressive, and it upsets the bleeding heart idiots in Europe, and the UN passes a statment saying someone (invariably meaning US) should really do something about it, we will spend American money and American lives to enforce the will of bunch of momma's boys (Europe) as announced by an organization of petty tyrants, dictators, and assorted bootlickers (United Nations)."

Nevermind the impossiblity of actually carrying this policy through, we would need more troops than even the Soviet Union ever fielded and that success would still be an unsure thing, it would still be a damned interesting 150 years or so.  American foreign policy is now totally at the whim of people that are not Americans.

We're witnessing it now with the imposter in the white mosque. You know that, right??
How come no one questions him about the voter intimidation? How about the Nadal Hasan shooting and why he isn't yet convicted? How about the funds for the "stimulus" bill? How about the moratorium on the US companies to deep water drill?
Shall I go on?? :naughty:

I agree completely...same boot, different foot.

I couldn't stand to watch it but that is what I got from the recaps as well.  There's a huge contradiction here between his 'Doctrine' (cough) and what Hitlery has been putting out.  If as he says these are issues of such fundamental principle that we have to intervene, then UN blessing is not relevant, and indeed not mentioned as a necessary condition precedent by Obama himself.  And, of course, getting such a UN resolution is a purely political exercise, not built on the facts of real, fake, or potential humanitarian violations, but on whether the dictator involved has a friend or sponsor on the UN Security Council who will block resolutions of this nature against him, which Mo the Q did not.  This is totally at odds with the line his Secretary of State is pitching, to the effect that this isn't 'Unilateral' because of the resolution, and treating that as if it is a condition of our involvement (Of course nothing compels us to commit any forces to effect any UN resolutions at all, that was a unilateral decision of the Obama administration, and the 'Broad coalition' to which she glibly refers is for all intents and purposes now limited to just the US, Britain, and France).
