I had to go to the city today which is close to a 5 hour drive for me, so I don't go often. When in the city I did everything I needed to do and then remembered I needed to goto the high school I graduated from and get a transcript as I lost mine a while ago.
Now I'm sure you all know the Queen is important to quite a few Canadians and our country in general, most schools have a picture of her in the lobby.
When I walked into the lobby I saw the picture of the Queen like normal and right beside (not even under!) There was a plaque type thing with a picture and quote from.....Obama! The quote was about change (go figure).
I was just a little offended that Obama, a person who's not part of our political system, seems to be more important then her. (Given the size of the image and placement)
Quite something if I must say so...

Fixed.

...and Frank is going to take issue with that. He loves the Queen.

Fixed.
And the Mounties jumped off of their horses????

Gee, now you're beginning to understand how WE feel--a "furr-e-nur" who isn't part of our political system who somehow got elected president.

Racist fuque. (<--- did a canadian spelling for you)

Compaq, yes, that was quite inappropriate. As a person who believes in flag etiquette, I know that another national flag should hang just a bit below the American flag, when on American soil. Our mall flies both at the same level, as they need to kiss up to the Canadians for their shopping dollar. Portraits should be the same way. I don't know why they have Obama there at all, as we don't hang up Canadian politicians all over the place.

Well commy, it's nice to see you are proud of your country and outraged that the impostor is given equal billing with HRH.
^5!!!

...and the irony of it is, I, too, have more respect for the Queen Mother than I do the Idiot in Chief.

I have more respect for your average cockroach than the ICK (Idiot Chief KnowNothing).

I totally understand how you feel, it's like the left in our Country thinking we should take into account foreign rulings in making decisions here in our Courts.
