Spoke with a former Supervisor last night who still ...
works for Motorola in San Diego.
He told me several things, but I'll list the most important.
1) He told me that Moto's business model in San Diego, if any one
quits in San Diego, then he can only re-hire that position in
India.
2) 4 Engineers in India is costing him only $180K ($45K/Engineer)
I replied, so your job will soon go to India as well.
He looked puzzled and asked what I meant.
I then told him that eventually his whole department will be smaller
then the group in India, why would they need him. They'll just hire
a manager in India to manage the larger group in India and the smaller
group in San Diego.
Did I forget to mention that he's a big RW nut. When I worked for him
I would hear him complain about liberals all the time.
Only one reply so far;

1. Was there any sign of an epiphany?
Or was he still in denial?
Well, now it is starting to grow. We'll see where this goes ...

This was a lame bouncy. Zero bongs.

Yep, India wants jobs. India is business friendly. India does not make companies jump through ridiculous regulation hoops. India has people that put in extra effort to get the job done. However, one must always remember that it is the evil corporations and not the evil twins of big government and big union that drives jobs off shore.

This ... LOL! This was actually posted at the DUmp!!

8. Your logic was wasted unfortunately, I bet
These people are blinded by ideology. They get upset with contrary facts. The truer a thing is, the angrier they get.

10. But I STILL applaud you for TRYING to get through.........
to him. At some point, if enough people try and enough instances of this very thing happen, something WILL GET THROUGH! And even if it doesn't, it still hones your arguments for the next RWer or even undecided that mouths RW talking points.

No problem if he's in San Diego. There's a sweet opening for a submarine captain out there.

You know, when the dimocrats get through with this country and it's so bad that everyone wants to leave....guess what...only conservatives will have a skill and money that allows them to leave....then it'll be DUmmies eating DUmmies.

Do they realize just how retarded these stories are?

you didn't need to mention it. We all knew where this was headed when you said he gave you a puzzled look and had to ask you to explain what you meant. After all, you liberals are sooooooooooo much more smarter than us knuckle dragging RW nuts.......

12. Here's the irony, ...
I live in the district of San Diego known as Scripps Ranch.
Very nice location. Unfortunately it's loaded with RW Nuts that continue
to vote into office the dumbest member of congress Duncan Hunter Jr.
Last night the Scripps Ranch schools (Elementary, Middle & High School)
held their annual community concert at the High School. All the bands were
there, and the HS Gym was packed.
At the end of the concert the HS Conductor takes the microphone and say
that this may be the last year of the concert because of the school cut-backs,
and that we should call our representatives to complain about the cut-backs
in the music department.
With my ex-supervisor standing next to me, I said in a loud voice so that
everyone in the immediate vicinity can hear me:
"Well when you keep voting in Republicans, what did you expect would happen?"
Nobody around me even made a gesture, agreeing with me. So I think the
statement wasn't very well appreciated.
He keeps adding to the story. ::)

Kinda sucks for him that he's in BARBARA BOXER'S AREA. Do these DUmmies actually follow politics? :mental: :thatsright:
-
Democrat governor + Democrat legislature + Democrat president = GOP fault

No Sir, that's why they're so intertaining.

BINGO!!
Cuba's socialist policies fail...because of the capitalism of the USA.
USSR's socialist policies fail...because of the capitalism of the USA.
Kalifornia's socialist policies fail...because of the capitalism of the USA.
Somehow it is never the fault of the policies themselves but something, anything else....usually a system that has proven to work.

 Yup, that's worth a H5.

And that has what to do with the decades long democrat dominated CA legislature that made the laws that are driving business out of the state? Or the freaking unions who own state/federal politicians so they can decide pay and benefits packages that no business can afford? Duncan Hunter is just ONE congressman. He can't make any laws on his own you stupid cow.

Man, truer words were never spoken.

This tard wishes he were near Scripps. He thought it was "Scripts Ranch", no doubt.
What's Happening
March 2011
School Financing
When faced with the dramatic cuts in school budgets dictated by shortages of funds, the wonderful parents of Scripps Ranch formed their own associations, held fundraisers, and developed programs for the use of their individual schools. Some of the events they sponsored and ran made marvelous amounts of money, such as the Scripps Ranch High School's Taste of the Ranch held at the end of February, carnivals, Bingo Nights, and so much more.
The monies raised were used as dictated by the individual school associations and principals and included support of programs, purchasing scarce supplies, even hiring personnel cut from the staffs--all for the betterment of the individual schools and, of course, the students. In other words, money raised by a school remained with the school. In essence the parents and supporters made up for some of the shortages from the district's reduced budget.

Well that's going to leave a mark!

Lets think about this for a minute.
Say you are under 40, have worked for an American Company for close to 20 years and the boss man comes and tells you that the company is moving to India. Now you are low on the company roll, drive a fork truck or do general cleaning, perhaps do security for the plant.
If you were told that the company would buy your home or pay off your lease to your apartment and move your family to an apartment in India at no cost to you, what would you do.??
Would you take the kids out of school, get 300 inoculations to move there at your rate of hourly pay ????
Difficulty's here, you and family do not know the language, the traditions are very strange and the crime rate is 500% of the place you now live.
Upside, at your American wage even if minimum wage is considered huge in India, one can live like a king making $400.00 a week.
For a 5 year contract with the company you, and family can have the time of your lives. Have an adventure that few of us get.
Now, if for any reason you wish to stay homebound for the family, then you may face hardship and strife. Why not get out there and see the world if you have a chance to. I do not understand why Americans that leave the main land are looked down as traitors.
If Hubby came home and told me at our age the company was moving to Kenya and we could follow it, I would have my bags packed in an hour. If he told me that with the move his pay was cut in half, I would still be packing.
Unlike the Brits we have become a society that clings to our land, afraid to to leave it, there are few amenity from governments over seas and to leave the comfort of America is very difficult. But, what does 5 years out of ones life to explore the world harm anyone.???
A good many non union company's will take the workers with them if they wish to go. Not so the Union company's.

That's quite a find there, Alpha Mare.

Often times in "the old days" at the DUmp when someone would make a claim of some sort, the DUmmies would say "do your research". Yet they don't seem to be interested in debunking these bouncies. Whatever makes them feel better, I guess.
H5, Alpha Mare.
