I agree with Dennis Kucinich.
An act of war not authorized by Congress is unconstitutional. A president that authorizes an act of war without that authority has committed an impeachable offense.
Furthermore, an Attorney General who overlooks, at the behest of a president, the war crimes of torture has also broken his oath of office to uphold the constitution, and should be removed from office. The job should be given to someone who isn't afraid to uphold the law, regardless of who the lawbreaker might be.
Bush and his cronies should be investigated, indicted, tried and imprisoned.
And, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
And, yes, I voted for President Obama.

DUmmie just said that to look good....he didn't really mean it.

From my recollection, the Barbary wars were undeclared as well, but hey, what the hell did Thomas Jefferson know about the US Constitution. :whatever:
Not sticking up for Obama, but what he's doing isn't unconstitutional.

That wasn't even the first, before that there was the "Undeclared Naval War with France" from 1798-1800.

rateyes will still be lining up to vote for Obama as soon as the GOP nominee is announced.
I guess that makes him the guy that would vote to re-elect Hitler.

So 2 years into the Obama presidency DU is supporting impeachment. Who knew we were in for this much fun? :-)

It's only an attempt to appear consistant...you know they support him and everything he does 100%.

Actually, Obama agrees with Kucinich...or at least did in 2002:
That’s what I’m opposed to. A dumb war. A rash war. A war based not on reason but on passion, not on principle but on politics.
Now let me be clear – I suffer no illusions about Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal man. A ruthless man. A man who butchers his own people to secure his own power. He has repeatedly defied UN resolutions, thwarted UN inspection teams, developed chemical and biological weapons, and coveted nuclear capacity.
He’s a bad guy. The world, and the Iraqi people, would be better off without him.
But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors, that the Iraqi economy is in shambles, that the Iraqi military a fraction of its former strength, and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he falls away into the dustbin of history.
I know that even a successful war against Iraq will require a US occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences.
I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the middle east, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of Al Qaeda.
And get this:
What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Rove to distract us from a rise in the uninsured, a rise in the poverty rate, a drop in the median income – to distract us from corporate scandals and a stock market that has just gone through the worst month since the Great Depression.
One. Trick. Pony.

What data do you consult to come to the conclusion there are any ideals coming out of Dennis? And as for Obama, his warming up to Hugo shows a thug run mentality instead of any ideals. So I'm confused, who do you consult that propels your forward on your campaign for the left?

No kiddin'! If the CIC had to wait on Congress, we'd all be dead! I think if he was goin' to do it, he shoulda done it a week ago! All he did by waitin', is cost lives and let Qadaffi get organized. What a moron!

I used to think they were just punks in the way. But now, seeing the real trouble happening as Glenn Beck revealed today with that SEIU administrator giving lessons on how to take America down I feel different.
I do think those who support the SEIU plan will pay a grim price. From my experience only a small number actually do all the talking on the various lobby groups slobbering such evil junk.

Yep this doesn't have any legs, Obama is not toast. However Bush didn't violate the constitution and had authorization from congress and the stupid UN, yet the dummies thought that was impeachable so if they are to be consistent then Obama should be frogmarched, impeached, and sent to the Hague as far as they are concerned.

It's not unconstitutional, but it's stupid beyond belief. Beth Ferrari could run a more coherent foreign policy.

I hate to say it, but she might even do a better job!
This guy is a total embarrassment! Unfortunately, I'd bet the rest of the world would agree with me!
