Since a FEW here want to know the truth
here is very much a WORST CASE for the plant.
Yesterday the numbers that Rachel showed for what is in the facility, what is at stake, is 1240 tonnes of material. No, not one reactor\pool, but between all of them.
That is equivalent to 12 reactor cores.
That be bad, as in real bad.
The BEST case right now is a partial meltdown and a relatively small release of radiation... (what we are seeing right now and yes it is relatively small still)
If any of you believes in prayer or a good... pray for this to end anywhere CLOSE to the best scenario. The worst case... is not something I can wrap my head around. In the meantime my quake supplies are getting bought today.

24. I thought it meant...
SHE was going to give US a break.
At least, that's what I hoped.

48. How can we miss her if she won't go away?
OMG! that's why she's so condescending, a couple of weeks ago I watched Rachel Maddow, I think it was around the time of the law in Wisconsin was being passed about collective bargaining, and I made the comment saying how awful Rachel's show was and I said she treats her audience like children ie being condescending to them and not acting as though her audience are adults.

102. I think that's a pretty valid argument.
And I've seen it happen a lot; even on the smallest levels of disagreement on the issue (not the person,) which made you end up on the ignore list pretty fast. And I'm talking about a disagreement from months ago, were I was belittled because I 'only' served in Civil Defense in the nuclear/chemical warfare unit with the rank equaling lieutenant. I was called out for not having any practical experience, and I have to admit, since I'm a Swiss citizen, no, we hadn't have a war for quite some time. And I'm happy about it.
I choose this unit because it was relevant to the work I then did, so it was easy for me to understand the basics and more. Unfortunately, that didn't count at all, and my arguments were - AHEM - rendered invalid.
There was also in lots of OPs of the said poster a call-out of the DUers who might disagree or, even worse, wanted to have a serious discussion and asked questions. And so is in this OP, which does not impress me and is, IMO, a rule violation. It's not about the issue, it's about people and one's delusion of grandeur, knowledge, experience, wisdom and Googlebits. Silly enough - besides the actual experience - we all have the same information at our hand to sort through. And there's where discussions starts.
Perhaps it's just bad attitude. And English ain't my first language either, but I try to not insult people out of ignorance.

119. This thread is better than the 'milk' one, but not as good as the 'GBCW
for six hours' one.

I do believe in "Good," NadaBrain. He is our Lord, and Savior.

I know...she's Gaia come to earth to share her knowledge. Captain Planet can't be far behind. He's already been here. Lost to DUbya by 527 votes. Cashed in on the hottest scam in history. Got fat.
She just can't make that break. She just can't do it. Now she's started dissing the Mods! If she isn't the epitome of an attention whore then I have no idea what one might be.
If she does get the granite how would she figure into Primitive of the year for '11? I mean, there'd have to be a special award or honorable mention or something for these superhuman efforts to grab the prize. I don't think Greenbriar even tried this hard.

Me, after this is over, I do... so I might get them and put them in the medicine cabinet. We are within 50 milles of San Onofre

Last night, know-it-all nadin was starting an all-seeing, all-knowing thread every twenty minutes or so. On every single thread, the DUmbasses swarmed her like a school of piranhas on a bloody beefsteak. I wish they had poured all their comedy gold into just two or three of her threads and left the others alone. Now, the oracle of the DUmp is on a tombstone's doorstep, and so bruised and beaten she's a shadow of her former self. All evening, she's started only two threads, a weak-ass kpete-ish copy-and-paste of Alan Colmes slandering Ann Coulter, and a half-hearted copy-and-paste about the king of Saudi Arabia. No arrogance, no condescension, no talking down to the morons. It's sad, and the DUmp is back to being a leaderless gaggle of lunatics. Let's hope DUmmy nadinbrzhzhzhzhski recharges and comes back more offensive, more insulting, and more hated than ever.

My latest mole got the pizza today. Only made about 20 posts, mostly milk-related, but I had some other stuff that had the anti-Nadinostradamus DUmmies laughing. She got pissed, and probably hit the panic button on me.
I was pretty blatant.
Is it against the unwritten rules to ask what your username was? You probably got quoted here...
I was "Lost in Space"... this time. :-)
