How can a person who believes in a God rationalize
that it is OK to destroy God's creation? How can they believe they love their children while leaving them a polluted trash heap? How can they believe they care about life when they care nothing about anyone other than the unborn. How can they not be concerned with the limits of the Earths resources?
Definition of insanity: Believing in two opposing ideas at the same time

My God, just how stupid can they get?
Do they actually believe that us freepers want to destroy the planet?
Do they really think we want poisoned water and air?
I have news for you morons, we live on this planet too. Just because we don't believe that SUVs and cow farts are destroying the world, does not mean we are out to destroy this planet. In fact just look at the difference between when we have our protests and you have yours.
We pick up our trash and leave the place nice and clean, you goons trash everywhere you gather, and many times have left behind costly damage. I would think mother earth worshiping hippies would at least put their used water bottles in recycling.

5. i hope people realize that millions of christians haven't believed in
the false choice between science and their faith for ages.
for me the fault -- in part -- lies with the reluctance of christians not being willing to criticize unaffiliated evangelicals like billy graham some time ago.
they should have -- they didn't.
I am not personally a Christian but, the ones I know believe in actual science. Not the made up bullshit that is nothing but a scam to make some people very rich all based on false guilt that you goons eat up. Not one of you can explain to me how paying carbon credits will do anything to fix the earth.

24. They justify it in accordance with Genesis 1:26
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
Because God gave man dominion over all the earth, man can do whatever the hell he wants with it.
That is their justification.
If you mean doing whatever the hell he wants means actually using natural resources, then you are right.
This whole notion that anyone on the right wants to **** up the planet is so stupid it's not even funny.

The Velveteen Ocelot said concerning conservatives, "Because they're all gonna be raptured this May."

You realize just how simplistic their world view is when you read a thread like this. Good lord, have these people lost all sense of nuance?

I sometimes think true irony would be finding the missing link aboard Noah's Ark. :whatever:
And speaking of relativity or not there is this by Einstein:

Lack of nuance implies naivete and naivete implies innocence of motive.
Good lady, I cannot subscribe to your theory.

Speaking of Job, the Stephen King mini-series "Storm of the Century" has a quote about Job that always makes me laugh for some strange reason: "When his life was ruined, his family killed, his farm destroyed, Job knelt down on the ground and yelled up to the heavens, "Why god? Why me?" and the thundering voice of God answered, There's just something about you that pisses me off."

A person who believes in God knows Who made those natural resources and gave them to mankind. If God didn't intend us to use them, why would He make them? :lmao:

Kind of like if God didn't intend us to eat animals he wouldn't have made them from meat. :-)

And he wouldn't have shown Adam and Eve how to kill them and make clothing from their skins. The first leather pants...wonder if they were black, or brown? :lmao:
