Title: NFL Lockout
Post by: Ptarmigan on March 15, 2011, 04:46:55 PM
How long will the NFL Lockout last for; none, partial, or whole season?

Partial. I think it will last throughout the OTA's, but there will be a full season, IMO. NOBODY want's to lose even a sliver of a 90 Billion dollar pie.

Side Note: I already have a thread on this in Breaking News. Do you want me to unleash the bunnies, Ptar? :fuelfire:

:p

who knows??? might swing a last min deal. these damned greedy players want a cut of the gate. their union is now dissolved. how much do they make??? americans are having serious problems with putting food on the table and paying bills.
screw em. if the season goes down the tubes that's it for me. im no longer a fan anymore. just like the last strike by the MLB. i used be be a big fan. i seldom watch it anymore.

It's going to be hard for me to totally let go. However, these players want a slice of the parking fees, and the concessions. What the hell, man? How much is enough??

I do know that Buffalo Wild Wings has a petition up on their site.  Something about "Save Our Season."

I haven't been following this too much, but is the players union seriously dead?

Not sure, but I don't think so. Drew Brees is leading the Charge for the players union, and proud of it according to him.

I've heard good things about Brees, but this is a bit disheartening.

Ah, well.  At least there is still college ball.

True. I'll tune into the draft the end of next month just because I want to see how different it will actually be.
