In this thread, the condescending know-it-all DUmmy nadinbrzhzhzhski takes time out from predicting bloody civil insurrections to lecture the DUmp on her preparations for what she hopes will be a trans-Pacific nuclear holocaust. As a bonus, she introduces the DUmmies to a new Word of the Week. I'll bet DUmmy nadin was a barrel of laughs during the countdown to Y2K.

So now that they have told us
Primary Containment might have been breached (In POI language that means it has... you has to tell the truth creatively)... we are told that there is absolutely no danger to the West Coast and the US Mainland. Has anyone told these rubes we are not rubes and can check a ****ING JET STREAM? This is global.
Today geting canned veggies, for a month and yes, dry milk. The leading edge will not get here for eight days.
Oh and yes I forgot water.

but my tap water comes from a reservoir... I am starting to buy it today.

11. iodine is a gas and won't precipitate. However it also only has a half of 8 days.
So half of it will be gone by the time it reaches us. 40 days and it's down to 1/32 of original strength. 80 days and it's pretty much gone at 1/1024 original level.

18. Milk (dairy) has traditionally been the source of concern....
I wonder how much risk would be associated with drinking water.... I really hadn't thought this aspect through, but it seems relatively low risk.

the radioactive iodine goes through cow and comes out in the milk... when you drink the milk it goes inside of you.
Vegies can be cleaned up but it is just safer to eat canned for a while
My water comes from a reservoir.
Chances are we will get MINIMUM amounts, not even worthy of staying or let alone handing out iodine... TIME\DISTANCE, but the radioactive iodine WILL concentrate in milk. Quite frankly it is just a damn precaution.
Before DUmmy Sirveri landed his haymaker to her ego, DUmmy nadin hadn't a clue about radioactive iodine. Now she can't stop talking about it.

I have lots of liberal friends her in the People's Republic of Kalifornia you cannot help but have it be this way. One time we were talking about earthquake preparedness. I have a fully stocked RV that could go three weeks anytime. Our pantry could go double that. One of the super smarties told me that was ridiculous and in the same breath told me they would be coming over if disaster hit. Then the conversation went on to how ell armed my compound is and that freeloading visitors would not be welcomed. I really offended them by not sharing my hard work, money, and common sense. Thankfully they have never engaged me in conversation again. I do hope they did some preparations but I doubt it, they are hard core liberals.

Makes me wonder if she has an earthquake kit in her home or garage living in SoCal like she does. You know, basic shit, like some candles, batteries, crank radio, dried foods, basic first aid items, stored in a box near the garage door or other point of easy access. She's probably one of those stupid bints who is stocking up on Potassium Iodide as well.

She might be burning calories at work or cleaning or chasing your daughter around. Anyway, if she finds out what's causing the weight loss... let me know. I have 10 lbs I want to drop like, yesterday... but it refuses to go away after changing my diet to a 1,100-1,200 caloric intake and doing lots of workouts.
