Sebeka Man Dies After Being Attacked by Cow

The Cass County Sheriff’s Department reports that a rural Sebeka man died shortly before 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, after being attacked and rammed by a cow as he and others were moving cattle in a pasture in Ansel Township east of Nimrod. The victim was identified as Robert E. Monson, age 71.
Authorities report that Monson was knocked to the ground when rammed by the cow. After the attack he got up, complained of chest pain, then collapsed. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed.
Sebeka Fire & Rescue assisted the Cass County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.

I'm afraid I can find no humor in this one. I've known several people killed or serverly injuried by cows.

Hell hath no fury like a heifer scorned.

(Does every state in the union have a Cass County?)

(Nimrod does not surprise me...it is Minnesota after all.)

You're right, the story itself is not funny. We were laughing at mA's unfortunate propensity to be mistaken for the bovine species.

What does one call the folks who make up the population of Nimrod?  Nimrodites? Nimrodians?  Nimrodders?  Or is plain Nimrod enough identification? :)

actually you refer to them by their surname as the three families that make up the population of Nimrod are known throughout the county (names withheld to protect my physical well being)
