Any suggestions for an Anti-Rick Perry sign for tomorrow's teacher rally in Austin?

I got a colleague asking me to be clever on command. Sadly, I can't be clever on command. All I was able to come up with was "Got Stupid?"
Well, I also came up with highly offensive joke that begins with "Abraham Lincoln and John F Kennedy walk into a bar..." but it doesn't really apply to anything that the state of Texas is doing.

I like "Got Stupid" with an arrow that points down.

Oh my God, they're always at their worst when they try and come up with slogans. Here's a really stupid post, with a tiny whiff of a bounce:

BOOKS NOT BOMBS
another way to say it would be
SMART KIDS NOT SMART BOMBS
You should have seen the (lightbulb) go off as people read the sign. One even told me they'd never thought of it that way.
on edit: GOOD SCHOOLS NOT GOOD HAIR
(that's the best I can do for "Anti-Perry)
Nobody told you that, you loser douchebag.

Maybe I should try to infiltrate the rally tomorrow in Austin. I will have to try hard to fit in, though. I guess that means I shouldn't shower or wash my hair anytime between now and then.

Double dog dare ya!

I couldn't stand it any longer. I had to take a shower and wash my hair. I will definitely not fit in. I suppose I could spray some Crisco cooking spray on my hair.

Got access to a cat litter box to roll in? You know, for authentic DUmmie looks and smell. :-)

When I went through school in Texas, we didn't have many "luxuries". Most schools didn't have A/C, labs were pretty much basic. The problem, as I see it, is that teachers & administrators get paid too much AND many cities are building schools that aren't really necessary and the schools are very opulent instead of just meeting the basic educational requirements. My city wants to build a new high school at the cost of $77 MILLION!! Let's look at the facts: the old high school is still in decent shape. The graduating classes are HALF of what they were when I graduated. The economy here isn't all that good. There are many houses being repossessed and many more that have tax liens against them. Why?? The poor economy coupled with HIGH property taxes, most of the taxes for the schools AND a good majority of the local population is over 50, with many more over 65. Then, there are people who own properties that are assessed at less than half of the actual value. (Of course, these people just so happen to be civic leaders) A great example is our local school administrator. His property is assessed at $188K. He has a house that has 2200 sq ft valued at $170K alone. He owns 66.83 acres, with current values in that area being $5K/ acre. Just the acreage alone values out at $330K. Add in his house and you have $500K. And yet, his property is only taxed at $188K. Someone PLEASE tell me that something doesn't stink.
Anyways, back to the new high school.... the city doesn't really need it, NOR can they afford it. Our SAT scores were markedly higher than what they are some 35 years later. Our schools did us just fine, so what's happened??

We have a brand new high school as well as many new elementary schools in our district but then again, the town where I live has gone from a population of about 15K people in 1995 (or so) to now over 100K. However, I know we are paying to educate and feed a large percentage of illegal aliens' children. That's what makes me angry.
Thor - see if you can find online your school district's budget. Go through it and look at some of the payments going out. If it's anything like my local school district, you will be amazed.
I'm not so sure that teachers make too much. My son is in his first year of teaching high school English as well as coaching the middle school basketball team and assistant coaching the high school basketball team. He does get paid extra for coaching. This is in East Texas. He definitely won't get rich teaching. It's a small and fairly poor district. He loves teaching and coaching. He makes enough to live on but it's tough for him. I'm not sure if he belongs to a union or if he is forced to join a union.
My problem with the teaching unions is not so much the teachers themselves, although I know there are some that are basically coasting to get to their own taxpayer-funded pot of gold at the end of their careers. It's the union bosses who have forced teachers into thinking they must have union representation. It's the union bosses who are enriching themselves on the backs of many teachers (and taxpayers) who probably just want to teach and be left alone. I would say many of them are smart enough to figure out they don't want to give their money to the union but they have no choice.
My son is not interested in politics and just wants to do his job. I do believe that if he is having money taken out of his check for the union, that probably makes him angry because right now he needs every dollar he earns just to support himself.
