I am so proud of the DU, we have come so far so fast

I learned in January that Republicans wanted to take away my right to simply belong to a union. In February I learned how bad it might be. I posted this and it made the greatest page to sound one of the first alarms of the oncoming wave against union members in the USA: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...
There was a time when I got here that labor news was hard to find. I got busy. Others followed right along. Then we got a group. I was shocked when we were upgraded to a forum: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...
When the first weekend of protests started in Madison, unions were saying the DU is providing 24 hour coverage far better than the MSM. We got lots of new readers and members.
I've been so busy reading labor posts on the DU, I barely have time to give an R, let alone reply. I've not had time to really post much. I haven't had to because WE all now understand the full scope of what is happening. We are posting things that were ignored not so long ago. That's a good thing.
The next time somebody says the DU has changed, it has. It has changed for the better of our party and way of life in a very short time.
Thank you from an old union man with tears in his eyes, and a new even larger warmth for the DU in his heart!

His face was priceless, the look of utter reverential awe and wonder at her; star-struck, spellbound.
We got a few of those here in Nebraska.

By the way, in case one doesn't know this, my fellow Nebraskan is 1/64th (or something) some long-ago oppressed minority, but he tries to give the primitives the impression he's a full-blooded.

DUmmy Omaha Steve weeps a lot, but he doesn't seem to do any work. I remember once the DUmbasses speculated about forming a union for unemployed moonbats - maybe that's his organization. In the photo of him with the ditch witch, notice that while he's sobbing and clutching her for all he's worth, she's trying to stand as far from him as possible and not touch the hairy slob. Stupid forum rule.

How much trouble is it to hit the "recommend" button? How much time would it take? I wouldn't think that it would take much time or be much trouble. Maybe the reason Stevie needs a union so badly is because he wouldn't be able to keep a job otherwise. I know most of the jobs I've had over the years have been much more time consuming than hitting the "recommend" button at a trash DUmp.

The meet up with the Witch in the Ditch was a fertile ground for many dummy candid photos. Wee Willie Pittiful in the cowboy hat, Distressed American, IIRC? Then there was The Ditch Witch on JJ da Race Pimp's back looking like she had just ripped a silent but deadly. :rotf:

I'm a touch more than half Creek indian. The second best way to irritate me is to pretend your oppressed because the cave dweller that was your great great grandpa got his ass handed to him by your other great great grandpa that came from a tribe that figured out how to build ships and use gunpowder. Get over it. Descendants of native american tribes (at least the ones not on reservations) enjoy a life and oppurtunities that would not have existed if whitey, particularly the english whitey, hadn't showed up.
