118. Corporations gave massive amounts of money to Obama.
The banks own him lock, stock and barrel.
Trillions gifted. Not one fraudster in jail. It's as plain as the nose on your face, assuming you have one.

423. He's not the same as Bush - in many ways he is WORSE.
Edited on Thu Mar-10-11 12:49 PM by AlbertCat
That's for sure. Obama can actually make a sentence with a subject and a predicate. Obama is not a dumb bunny drunk like Bush and should know better.
Obama, however, is just an Uncle Tom. Being all nicey-nice and making great but empty speeches.......

What is with that term anyway? Last I read, Uncle Tom was a sympathetic character surviving under cruel and oppressive circumstances.

Wow - they aren't feeling the love for Obama, are they? Do you think they will ever admit we were right?
:whistling:

It's an enormous bonfire. They're lashing out at Obama, kicking and screaming and holding their breath and stomping their feet.
This guy says he wants to get a real progressive president in there:

35. Sanders would be my first choice
Alternatively I would suggest Howard Dean as name recognition goes further than most, however I would be open to suggestions of better, more liberal candidates.
:lmao:
As the whole country moves right.

That's what I thought too.
Here's one explanation:
The origins of this slang term lie in an 1852 anti-slavery novel, Uncle Tom's Cabin, written by Harriet Beecher Stowe. In fact, the title character of the book is anything but subservient and accommodating, being unafraid to stand up for himself and his values. Stowe apparently wrote his character with the intent of turning him into a role model, but over time, Uncle Tom's depiction was twisted on stage and screen, until the original identity of the character was overshadowed by a stereotypical cringing black man who is eager to please the white “master.â€
Uncle Tom appears to have entered common usage in the 1960s and 1970s, when the growing civil rights movement led many African Americans to stand up for their rights assertively. Members of the movement were encouraged to speak out, and to refuse to allow themselves to be cowed by people with white skin. Acts of civil disobedience such as sitting at “whites only†lunch counters were committed with the goal of bringing civil rights to the forefront and promoting equality, and many of these measures were successful.

I saw the same sentiment on other sites.

Your mole's braver than my mole.
Ever since I found out who the Prosense primitive, the unbannable primitive, is, I've been keeping a wide berth.
One day I'll probably pounce, but not right now. There's this thing about properly sizing up the other guy first.

There is only one principle among DUmbasses: hate Bush
They cannot, under any circumstance, ever allow themselves to get close to the notion that Iraq/A-stan were legit.
Nevermind the fact that not only is Obama NOT an imperialist he's a ***** who is too scared to make a decision. He wouldn't save his own daughters from an R Kelly video without full UNSC approval and if China or Russia vetoed he'd accept it and R Kelly would be invited to the next WH tribute to hip-hop.
It is very easy to argue Obama is not an imperialist, even in the guise of a mole. Convince the odd DUmbass or lurker that Obama is not an imperialist and you plant the seeds that maybe he continues those fights because there may actually be a real threat that might ruin his chances of re-election. If there is a legit enough threat even for someone as feckless and cowardly as Obama then just maybe...

The ONLY chance for us to take back our country.
You mean this Sanders?
The Clueless Senator from Vermont
March 10, 2011 09:37 AM UTC by John Stossel
Senator Bernie Sanders, I-VT, was so outraged that trinkets made at the Smithsonian are not manufactured in the United States that he wrote to the museum demanding it sell products made in the USA.
"That is pretty pathetic!" said the Senator. "I was not aware that the collapse of our manufacturing base had gone that far."
He even stopped by Capitol gift shops to buy made-in-America products to take to a meeting with Smithsonian officials. Unfortunately for the clueless Senator, his choices demonstrated why we buy things from other countries, and why trade is good:
The Lincoln Memorial gift shop sells two hats - one made in America and one made in China - and the price difference is drastic. $19.95 for the former, only $10.95 for the latter.
Sadly, even ignorant Senators have clout. The Washington Times reports:
It sums up Sanders pretty well.

Wow! In that case, I'd take back what I said about Palin being unelectable. It would be a Saralanche.
