Obviously about the WI bill passing. Can't even tell anyone how ecstatic I am. As the BEP song says: "Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night."

At least one of those idiots is going to get violent and that too won't pan-out so well for them.
Then again...
...maybe not:

NATIONWIDE STRIKE
Does Wisconsin strike alone? I'm Union in Oregon and I would protest for a day.

I'll be keeping an eye out on local news, and any live feeds I can find. From what I heard on 1310, and 1130, there's already a shitload of people down at the Capitol, and they are PISSED! :fuelfire:

:rotf: Hi-5 for the thread title. :lmao:

allahpundit encapsulates nicely:
Update: One of the fugitive Dems inadvertently makes the case for why the GOP should go ahead with this:
Democrats said the fines would have no effect on bringing them back to the state.
“They’ve messed with our staffs,†said Sen. Jon Erpenbach (D-Middleton). “They’ve taken away our parking spaces. They’ve extorted our paychecks. They’ve sent the State Patrol after us. And now they’ve fined us $100 a day.
“I don’t know what more they need to do to get the point that it’s not working.â€
Right, it’s not working. It would be out-and-out political suicide for any of them to break ranks and come home so that the GOP can form a quorum, which means there’s nothing further to talk about here. Walker’s not dropping the collective bargaining bill and the Democrats aren’t budging from their demand that the collective bargaining bill be dropped. We’re at a complete impasse, and now the GOP’s going to resolve it. Done.

Yep - They are going to get violent tonight. And that will be the end of any sympathy they may have garnered over the last few weeks. Its also a good thing that Wisconsin is on the Great Lates - all those salty tears need someplace to flow - else they would flood all low lying and/or flat land all the way down to Oklahoma.
-
So the libwits are gong down to the capitol to cause another 7-8 million dollars in damages?
The unions need to learn the first rule of holes.

Bingo! Americans who are hurting are not going to just accept and side with union thugs becoming violent.

If they have the balls to general strike, I suspect that transfer will be granted..And compulsory..

2. They want a clash, they'll report on a clash in a heartbeat.
Peaceful protests don't get covered. It's something the direct action people have learned a long time ago. Hopefully the black bloc stays out of it for WI's sake.

4. GOOD, lets end this crap. These are the real people, not the Koched up rabble hired to march
against health reform. They asked for this fight and now they are going to get it. I'm in and I don't care what it takes. I've had it with these divide and conquer thugs and their unthinking sheep. Let's take our country back.

Oh, DickSkinner...
...how long until the feds are knocking at your door.
It's funny. Skins might have to lock them down for the night but that wil just feed their rage when they scream they've been Mubarak'ed.

Not bloody likely. My CinC is a big leftist that idolizes Van Jones, and privately funds anti-Columbus Day orgs and CopWatch.

I wonder. ? ..We will see.
My guess, totally underreported, or not reported at all.
And the democrats weren't there because...?

Well - that sucks. Your CinC shouldn't let politics color decisions on right and wrong. General strikes coupled with violence need to be contained, and if the numbers of protesters are large, it will take a large number of LEOs and NGs to contain it, and to minimize injury and mayhem. And since many of WI's LEOs are with the protesters, that leaves the need for a (supposedly) unbiased legally authorized 3rd party to contain the mess.

Someone better call Ian's. They're gonna need a shitload more pizza.

Forgot about them. Hi-5.

If the teachers go out on strike, does that void their contracts? I would think that parents would really be pissed at the teachers id they put themselves ahead of doing their jobs. Think many unemployed teachers in schools districts around the country would not love to have a job and not take a position that put food on the table and clothes on their backs?
-
This thread needs that head 'slodin' .gif.

It's probably too late to buy shares in Kleenex, or rather, their parent company Kimberly Clark. Ah well, Rev, best you be a dutiful and loving son and run down to the store to get your mom and her pals several boxes. :hyper:

If they keep feeding these freeloaders, they'll never leave. Note they're no longer allowing the DUmmies to bring food into the capitol, and they're clearing the building every night. Civilization is slowly being restored.
-
They're not leaving tonight, it doesn't appear. Walker has called the State Troopers to help since the cops are sitting with the mob-thumbs up their asses.

When it turns violent what happens with the LEOs who were supporting the protesters? How malignant is this solidarity cancer within WI LE? I'm hoping it affected a very small number and that they can do what needs to be done.

If the cops won't do the job asked of them the the Gov can call the guard and they REALLY don't want aany of that. The sticks we use to train for riot control are alot bigger then the cops have and the Guard will use them. Those asshats are lucky this isn't South Korea. Their riot police are not union and the first three rows of cops are there to drag you into the back 6 rows of 6th degree black belts in Tae Kwon Do and for you to get your ass beat for real.

Some canisters of CS thrown through windows would get rid of them in a heartbeat. :-)
