Why are women constantly trying to justify having had an abortion?

One story more dire and heartbreaking than another. Well, my story isn't heartbreaking. I wasn't in dire circumstances. I didn't become pregnant because I was raped or abused. I got pregnant because my boyfriend and I were careless. I wasn't ready for a baby. I didn't want to bear a child and give it up for adoption. I had an abortion. I did not feel guilty then. I do not feel guilty now. It was legal. It was my business.

Women should not feel they owe anyone an explanation as to why they had a legal medical procedure.

You're a sick twisted bitch. Use a ****ing condom. Useless DUmmies.

They play the sob stories because if liberals were honest like you elective abortion would not be legal.

Wow.

I always wondered what deep dark secret dwelt in the recesses of the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive's soul.

There is after all a reason people are the ways they are.

For some reason, I think Cali has posted that before.  Of course, a lot of the DUmmies have bragged about their abortions in the past, so I could be confusing her with someone else.

And yes, lurking DUmmies, you do brag about your own abortions, whether you had one or not.  And you always seem proud of it. :whatever:

You murderin' bitch! So because you couldn't keep your legs closed, you decided to kill another human being?

Tells me everything I need to know about what caliber of people hang out at the DUmp!

Too bad your own own mother made the mistake of not flushin' ya down the commode! You don't deserve the privilege of breathing the air of decent and civilized people!

Tell me again how you pukes don't use abortion for birth control!

For all we know, you murdered the genius that could have solved the energy problems of the world!

Maybe it's just me. But I can't help but feel almost sorry for cali. How can someone go through life not regretting ending another, innocent life? That shows emotional problems that make undergroundpanther's look almost normal.

Maybe because they realize how it looks to the rest of us in society and are embarrassed and guilt ridden?

If she is to be believe about her own experience I see NO guilt or remorse.  She's almost daring someone to call her out for her utter disregard for life...hell she called it "a child"!  Why is she even bringing this topic up?  I didn't open the link, the discussion makes me want to puke without having to read more.

 Are you serious???

You BETTER believe that there are SCADS of women who after the procedure and recovery is complete are so damn HAPPY they aren't stuck with a pregnancy they didn't want, can't afford, etc. they'd like to do backflips. But who the hell is going to actually ADMIT to that happiness in a social environment where women are made to feel like an evil person for having an abortion?

Oh, you're damn bloody right that should I ever need to have an abortion and once the procedure and recovery is over with and all is well I'd be so ridiculously happy that my life and my health wasn't going to be destroyed because of an unwanted pregnancy I'd be doing back flips. But if I ever admitted such a thing I know I'd be roundly chastised and thought of as a sickening individual for that happiness so it's no ****ing wonder you've never heard of anyone being SOOOOO relieved they were THRILLED. Escaping having your life and health destroyed because of an unwanted pregnancy is God damned THRILLING.

JUST as thrilling as someone having that messed up cartilage scraped out of their knee would feel being able to walk and run and get back to a normal life and JUST as thrilling as someone having their diseased appendix removed would feel being able to keep on living a normal and healthy life without it, etc. Oh, but that person that had their knee repaired or diseased appendix removed is ALLOWED to voice their happiness at having the procedure done, aren't they?

This sounds a lot like being "punished with a baby." And where have I heard that before?

Some dumb beta male decides to wade into feminist orgy:

26. I'm a male so I know i'm not really supposed to have an opinion on this
but, i'm adopted (born 828 days before Roe V. Wade was decided, my brother is adopted as well), so it's hard for me not to think that the decision to have an abortion should matter. I support legal abortion, to make it clear.

If your mom was able to have an abortion and did--it wouldn't have affected YOU.

That is not to say that your family/friends aren't glad you are here--that is an entirely different subject.

YOU are a product of the environment that you were raised in and your life experiences as well as some genetics thrown in. At the time and place that your Mother could make the decision to abort or not to abort, you were simply a sac of cells.

A sac of cells is NOT a person. It does not think, it does not reason, it does not function outside of the host. If the woman decides to rid herself of this, the sac of cells knows no difference. The universe remains unaffected by her medical decision.

Abortion is LEGAL and should remain so.

I sense some guilt mixed with relief that your Mom couldn't make a legal decision regarding an abortion. I GET that. I really do.

But that shouldn't change the dialogue

Good Lord, the stupidity is stunning.

Oh but I think the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive does regret it, subconsciously.

After all, she committed the ultimate human taboo, killing one of her own.  That's a pretty strong taboo, and no matter how stupid or hard-hearted one is, there's likely to be repressed guilt down in there.

The bitter old Vermontese cali primitive has not had exactly a fulfilling or pleasant life, and much of that misery can be placed upon her subconscious sense of guilt over destroying life.  She not only killed an infant, but she also killed a part of herself.

But whatever; we all make our own destinies.

Oh my.

The lack of self-worth betrayed by the unappellated eohippus, the High Priestess of Moloch to the primitives, the "Horse With no Name" primitive, makes one wonder how she ever managed to complete nursing school (that is, if she in fact did).

I don't know.  Words fail me.  Why can't these worthless pieces of trash learn to use birth control?  No excuse, they teach you all about it in Kindergarten now.

"I got pregnant because my boyfriend and I were careless".

THAT, right there is the great disconnect with these people. IMHO a woman's "choice" extends only up to the point of spreading her legs. There it stops. Period.

All of this crap about "My body" and "it was legal, nobody's business but mine" is what galls me. They like to debate when the life of baby begins because it supports their "choice" and affirms "their body", etc. B.S.

Life begins at the moment the sperm ell enters the egg. Period. That's it, game over. From that point on it is a woman's responsibility to assume the role of Mother, the most honored position in humanity, not murderer, the most vile position in humanity.

Trial judges, at the point of sentencing for murderers use a phrase to describe these wretches, "depraved indifference for human life". That is precisely what these people exhibit.  :argh:

That unsettling nagging sensation deep in the pit of your gut that just won't go away? That's called guilt, honey.

This is the very reason I do not blame the DR that does the abortion because he did not drag pregnant woman off the streets tie them down and take their child at that time when the baby is viable.

Yes the doctor is a monster but he just sat back and waited for woman to come to him---with cash in hand.  one can justify their acts and as long as the are within the whinnying can become a DR. Managerially for researches purposes  .

Woman come in to clinics with money in hand and hire medical personal to kill their child.     Some for some insane reason wait until they are 8 months to pay for this.

Baby's are born alive and the mothers know this yet allow the child to die either alone in a garbage bag or be killed age  by medical devices.

Money talks, for the Mother and the doctor.    But what is the excuse of waiting 8-9 months to destroy life for either the woman or the doctor.??

Just call me an old lady that is very confused with the world today.

How sad it is that someone can commit murder and it doesn't even affect them.

Who cares if you didn't want a baby?  Stop screwing like rabbits.  And if you do end up pregnant, be ready to handle the consequences.  Personally, I could never have an abortion OR give a baby up for adoption.  I'd raise that child, because he/she is MINE.  Duh.

I hate dumb people.

I can't even imagine "Toots" without her children and grandchildren. They have defined her life as well as mine! The thought without them is completely foreign to me! I doubt seriously there is a single woman on this planet without children that hasn't wondered, "what if"!

These assholes sound more like children are a burden to be evaded at all costs! They obviously have never seen an infant, snuggle up to their Papa or Nana on the couch durin' a thunderstorm!

Makes me want to take 'em all out to the woodshed for a good ol' fashioned "whippin"!

Lets see....a fetus is a sack of cells in a host...it's OK to kill the sack of cells...so why is it not alright to kill the host. Rabies is a clump of virus in a host and we kill the host...right.

Exactly!!   :wtf2: :wtf3: :wtf2:

Of course, these are the same  :censored: that hate, hate, hate the Duggar family for having a bunch of kids...just as though it was any of their business.  Obviously, women can have lots of kids and still be totally healthy.

On the other hand, every single  :censored: abortion ends at least one human life.  It's just disgusting to see these "tolerant, loving, educated" idiots pat themselves on the back for killing their own children.  Though, to be absolutely fair, the kids are probably better off without going through life with the kind of  :censored: that is proud of killing them.

So what would be a nurturing mother from the DUmp's point of view? Would it be this?
