The Constitution Club (www.Constitutionclub.org) is an established blog and is currently accepting applications for new authors who can provide interesting and fresh perspectives on the issues of the day. If you write from a conservative or right-wing, libertarian perspective you are encouraged to contact us at constitutionclub@gmail.com.
If you are new to blogging, a group blog like this is a good way to ease into blogging and get some good experience. We have a good group of bloggers to work with and a fun little blogging community of fellow conservatives. Some are experienced and some are not. A good mixture of both.
We are not an echo chamber and you are not expected to tow any particular line or view on specific subjects. The Conclub bloggers strive to maintain a professional and informative blog, but we do not take ourselves that seriously and enjoy our eccentricity and humor.
As we approach a million visitors, we plan to continue to provide intelligent, informative, and interesting posts, articles, and commentary on a daily basis both in ‘soundbite’ and ‘essay’ form to as many people as possible. We hope you accept this opportunity to share your thoughts on the issue of the day and for us collectively to carry the conservative message to the huddled masses through shared news, views, and commentary.
Please contact us if you are interested in this blogging opportunity and sharing your views with a wider audience.

:tumbleweed: Where's that spam button, dammit!

Why is that spam?
I checked out the website/blog and it's pretty straightforward. What better place to solicit conservative writers/bloggers than on a conservative website in a category called "Bloggers?"
It's not like he or she asked for donations or money.
If we don't spread our message, who is going to?
AOA

Because Dave didn't introduce himself in the Introductions thread. He just came in and starting his blog crusade.
Nothing wrong with blogs -- hell, that's why there's a forum for that purpose. But it's a little impolite to just waltz in, pimp your blob, then scoot.
As Dave has clearly done.

It's only "spam" in that person's mind. However, I agree with Eupher. It's a little rude to drop a blog link and leave it at that. No intro, no other discussion or even no blog updates.
