Differences between progressives and teabaggers
* A progressive sees a homeless person and wants to help, realizing that so many of us are only a couple of paychecks away from being homeless.
* A teabagger sees a homeless person and thinks "it's your own damned fault"
* A progressive sees a gay couple and applauds the progress we've made, but realizes we still have a long way to go
* A teabagger sees a gay couple, and secretly applauds Iran and the Taliban for "getting it right"
* A progressive sees a group of African-Americans, Hispanics, and Muslims and applauds the diversity of our nation
* A teabagger sees the same group and wishes for the "good old days"
Besides the usual BS comparisons, I find it fascinating that a guy would talk about the Tea Party Movement and sport a "Che" avatar. The hypocrisy is just mind-numbing.

Personally I don't care in the least if there are gay people running around as long as they aren't sucking each other off in public.

A conservative doesn't count how many of each race are in a group. because we don't really care what race you are. Only liberals judge people by their race.

A regressive sees a homeless person and thinks the Government should help yet they walk by the person and don't give out of their own pockets or take that person home for a warm meal, see Bobbo as an example, what have any of you ever done for her?
A Conservative will donate to private organizations to help those in need, they don't expect the Government to do it.

A regressive SEES A GAY COUPLE, they don't see just 2 people, they always need to add a label to what they see.
A Conservative is usually too busy to notice or try to label people.

* A teabagger sees the same group and wishes for the "good old days"
A regressive again feels the need to label people, they also feel the need to make decisions on the behalf of minorities, to keep them on the plantation so to speak, and when they veer off the plantation? just look at the names minorities are called.
A Conservative doesn't label people, if you're willing to work hard, you live a good life, that's all we care about, but if you're going to go around committing crimes? damn right we'll call you on it.

Conservatives see people. Progressives see "causes."
Conservatives donate their own money to help people. Progressives demand higher taxes on the rich to support "causes."
Conservatives build, run and support food banks, homeless shelters, crisis pregnancy centers and childrens' homes. Progressives go to court to shut them down or add wasteful regulations because they aren't secular enough.
