President Obama signed a memorandum on Friday extending the government’s commitment to collecting and modernizing data for women’s issues.
The order was signed just after the first report in 50 years on “Women in America†that the White House released on Tuesday, which compiled years of scientific and public data on the status of women and the challenges they face in employment, education and health.
