22-caliber long rifle hollow points.

Sounds like dozens of Madison cops and sherrif's deputies each lost their bullet.

Yeah it's paranoia run amuck, but if it results in DUmbass union thugs getting strip searched in order to approach within 100 yards of the capitol, I can support it.

The local police, nor Capitol police, will do anything like that. They support the protesters. If they want something like that done, they might have to call in another law enforcement agency. Not sure who though.

3. Sounds like one of those Rovian plots the governor
was 'considering' when he talked to the fake Koch brother.
A way to clear the capitol for security reasons.
Sounds like the far right teaparty crowd paid a visit.

4. This is just an excuse to bar protestors from the area.
Walker is shameless. He just doesn't want to have to admit that he has lost the public's support.

5. If that's supposed to be some kind of threat, it's a pretty pathetic one.
.22 LR rounds are inadequate for anything larger than a rabbit.

6. Sounds like
desperation is setting-in for King Walker and is Court. He he in a crimson mood? He did admit to contemplating shenanigans of these sorts in his conversation with the pseudo-Koch.

Walker had someone plant them?
Well, there are protesters at the Capitol 24/7. If it was someone other then their union thug crowd, wouldn't a lot of people be coming forward? Especially if it was a "tea bagger"?
DUmmies - Tea Party members wouldn't waste their ammo by leaving live rounds laying around. Just sayin....

Blazing logic is an ineffective weapon against DUmp stupidity.

Ya know, I could believe this.
But, then I'd have to get off of my Skittles-shitting unicorn long enough to make sure I used enough Healing White Light on the Tooth Fairy, to make sure said Fairy spread enough Magick Pixie Dust all over Madison.
And, I would have had to have done a double-digit number of these: :stoner:

Or Bobby Kennedy. Professionals actually have a certain preference for .22s as hit weapons, due to the low noise factor.

The Mossad issued, as duty weapons, Ruger Mk. Is that were heavily modified, IIRC.

If you can get to within a arms length of the target they're very much a lethal round, along with being easily suppressed, commonly available, low recoil and so on.

The other thing I've heard about them is that if you're close enough to get cranial penetration with one, the likelihood is high that there won't be an accompanying exit wound. The bullet just kinda ricochets around the inside a bunch until the remainder of the kinetic energy is expended.

Didn't John Hinkley use a .22 cal on President Reagan??

PELLET rounds will pierce the skin if the pressure is high enough. A .22? The skull is fairly solid, but I wouldn't want to test the theory. I know they'll go through extremities, and probably torsos.
My uncle once shot a man, nasty horse in the dick with a pellet gun, because the horse was biting my younger uncles, and aunt. This was when they were kids, of course. From what I heard, it was like a bolt of lightning in reverse before that horse bucked, and bronced all over the place. Yeah, it penetrated slightly. :rotf:

They are also hard to trace and when shot in the back of the head it goes in and then rattles around inside because its not powerfull enough on average to go clean through, leaving the person shot to die from brain trauma

What sort of DoUchebag would bring a .22 round to a gun fight???
