Stay Home for America!
"We're calling for a nation-wide sick-out, on March 30th! A work-stoppage might FINALLY get the point across that WE are the people who run this country, NOT the people with the money and the privilege! Let's see how they like it when things come to a screeching halt. No marching in the street. No fire-bombs. No rubber bullets. Just don't show up for work. Don't show up for school. Don't go shopping. Stay at home."

Lots of people will be happy to apply for your job after you're fired, DUmmies. Those with a job, that is.

I'm in college and don't have a job but I'll gladly cut class.
Worthless f***ing stoner. You're only hurting yourself. Does the prof give a shit whether or not you show up?

25. i'm in favor of any activities that might help keep the corporate
attacks on our quality of life at bay.
a sick-out and spend no money day is good but it is not a general strike. and rather than staying at home everyone needs to be in the streets. this is what will get the attention of those in power.
people need gather in front of their local government buildings and in front of business headquarters in their neighborhoods and make their voices heard.
we must demand that the dis-credited economic policies of the past forty years be reversed and that the rich pay their share. we need to insist that our outrageous spending on defense be curtailed. and we need to throw the bums out who resist our demands.
That's a winning strategy. Rant and rave in front of the local dry cleaners and neighborhood pub? What a loon. :mental:

The thread wont be pinned on GD. So I would appreciate all the help in keeping this kicked.
Aww.

Does that mean they will be boycotting their unemployment checks for a week?
-
Isn't this like about the 1,087,984th time the primitives have proposed a work-stoppage the past ten years?
I might have missed a few, so it might be more than 1,087,984.
-
Does that mean they will be boycotting their unemployment checks for a week?
Good question, sir.
I think the primitives need to answer it.
-
This is a great idea! Not One Damn Thing Day! This will bring them to their knees! It's in the script. But...uh..what about weed? It's still okay to buy weed, right?
-
If it's not the 1,087,984th time, it's the 1,087,985th time. And still this one will be a complete flop. What a hoot about the college kid cutting class! Yeah, that'll show 'em.

Notice that this puke says NOTHING about joining in the festivities himself, just a hearty "You go, girl" to the handful of misfits who will ultimately step out of their rut on the 30th.
-
A work-stoppage? I suppose these simple-minded buffoons think it's as simple as pushing a big red button on the wall. After which, all his blue-collar brothers and sisters hoist him/her/it on their shoulders and carry them about the factory floor like some sort of hero. At least that's how it always worked in those 80's feel-good movies. And then they all go down to the bar for a beer.
Most likey, it will just result in more work for everybody else and one more unemployed DUmmy scratching it's head wondering what went wrong.
-
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. At some point you'll get tired of eating FAIL for lunch every day and try something else.
:whatever:
-
Please, do not show up for work, because I could really use a job.
-
It would never work among NYS employees. That day is a payday.
And, to the OP--that day would be called . . . "a weekday?" Show me DUmb****s that work instead of being leeches.

Heh, no kiddin'! Do they know how many people get paid on the 15th and the 30th????
What a bunch of no minds!
It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic!

Is that their new slogan? it sounds like a frigging campaign on masturbation.
-

That would certainly get a Hell of a lot more support all across the political spectrum than some dumbshit call for a general strike.
:rimshot:

Guess I'll be going on a shopping spree March 30th! Bonus: the mall will be DUmmie free!

Ballygrl, that was one of king zero's campaign slogans. Most people thought it unbelievably obnoxious.
I too will be both working and shopping. Out to dinner, too maybe.
Hello, guests.

Imagine the Outrageâ„¢ when they rang up the Department of GimmeMyFreebie to find it unattended for a week.

This DUmmie is a slacker , always bothering their coworkers and keeping them from working is my guess.

I know the economy doesn't really reflect this anymore, but it's been sooo long since I used this:

If I were her boss, I'd call a company meeting. Ask by a show of hands, who wanted to be in the MoonBat Union, and fire everyone who raised their hand on the spot, explaining the business cannot afford to unionize and if they were that unhappy with their working conditions, perhaps they should find a union shop to work in.
Anyone still wanting to come back tomorrow with a better attitude would be welcome, no strings attached.

9. I am all for it, even though I am unemployed right now!
This might help us all.
The bottom-line is one of the few economic weapons we have against corporate rule. What we buy and who we work for effect this, as well. However, we are not yet, (emphasize yet) in concert on how to utilize our power. So, yeah, a general strike of any kind, even a token, stay home day, is really WORTH the shot. It will send a message that is hard to ignore. Kind of like a warning shot.
The problem I have here with helping to promote this is that you have to be a Facebook member to see the page. So, please do get more info publicly available early on in order that we might spread the word widely and effectively.

14. A Nationwide General Strike, I Love it...
I'm in college and don't have a job but I'll gladly cut class. I have a feeling I can convince a few other people to do so also.
They're too DUmb to realize that no going to work WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB isn't going to be noticed by anybody.
-
I for one am not going to work that day, I'll support that part of the DUmmies plan. Unless I get called in for overtime, that day is one of my days off.
-
Everyone go on strike...I mean everyone....think about it. The power goes off, the heat/air goes out, the water runs out, the toilet backs up, you can't cook, the stores are all closed, you can't travel because of no gas....a few days of that and the DUmmies would be begging for everyone to go back to work.
Hell, I can stand it, can they?
-
The funniest thing is if the people who call in sick and don't come to work are Union employees they won't be fired. :banghead:
-
I for one welcome our listless and unmotivated overlords.

Sounds like a normal day for the primitives. Except they don't need to "call out". They just stay home and collect that welfare.
-
I for one welcome our listless and unmotivated overlords.
In your case, as an active duty member of the Armed Forces, you are sorely underestimating the qualifications of your overlords.
Gates is a cipher. And the Commander in Chief is no doubt blowing as much smoke down his piehole as he is blowing it up the American people's asses.
-
So if all the already unemployed, Cheeto-munching, pron-fapping, basement-dwelling, mental deficients were to actually do, well, what they normally do, this affects me how?
-

Add to that the exceedingly rare few who have managed to find a place that hasn't fired them yet for gross incompetence - dementedjeep, or whatever Pam Dawson is calling herself these days comes to mind - who will actually stay home from work, and thus improve productivity exponentially that day, and I really fail to see a down side.

Unfortunately I think you're right. I doubt Zero knows his ass from a hole in the ground, when it comes to anything military!

57. I don't work but I'll stay home and not spend any money. nt
:lmao:
I'll spend your share and then some. I'll do some community organizing myself, and rally some friends to go out shopping, then on to drinks & dinner. We'll have a ball! You DUmmies can sit at home, without anything to eat or drink. You need to turn off the lights and heat, and no TV or internet, either. Those contribute evil profits to the power company and ISP.

Not for those of us in Cochise county, AZ, as many of the folks here are hardworking conservatives. OTOH, I'll take more crowded roads over living amongst a bunch of idiots.

So the DUmmies on Welfare, SSI and Unemployment are going to return the money they get for that day to show their solidarity?? :fuelfire: :whistling:
Yeah I know, fat chance, cold day, yadda yadda. :-)

Yes, he did.
Notice the word, "almost". But he'd have to put down the :stoner: and actually get up in the AM. Not going to happen.
-
I was just ruminating--said primitive says it's a "ProudDad." How much you wanna bet the child is "DisgustedKid?"
