HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!! :bday: to the Lonestar State!!

Happy birthday, since I missed congratulating you elsewhere, THM!!
You COULD be like me and share a birthday with one of the worst days of American history, Pearl Harbor Day.
Of course, if the scummy Aztlan Nation types have their way, Texas, along with the other border states, will soon be overrun in a modern day Reconquista. :bird:
-
Aztlan Nations ain't got a chance Bou!
Happy Birthday Us!
-
You all know that all we need is about 500 Texans and and very limited rules of engagement and the GWOT would be over. Happy Birthday to the great state of Texas.
-
Somebody must've gotten their dates mixed up.
Texas became independent March 6, 1836, if I recall the history books correctly.

Happy Birthday Us!
I know what I would do if I were in charge. I'd make Sheriff Joe the Homeland Secretary, and turn him loose to do his thing. :-)
I halfway am shocked Zer0 hasn't invited La Raza, Aztlan Nation and the rest to visit him at the White House. Maybe he was afraid the slime trail wouldn't scrub off the tiles.
-
Ooops, I appear to have possibly maybe perhaps erred.
March 6, 1836 was the day the courageous were temporarily defeated at the Alamo.
Sorry about that.

It was a Pyrric victory for the Mexicans.
The Alamo is certainly one of the most glorious defeats in history. :cheersmate:

Actually, now that you mention it, Glorious Comrade Leader is hosting Poncho Calderon at the White House tomorrow...

Another black tie red carpet affair like he gave his good buddy Hu of China, probably. :whatever:

I don't mean to hijack, but anyway, yesterday, March 1, was Nebraska's birthday.
1867.
I've always liked knowing that when Texas joins Nebraska in voting red, the two of us together give the (R) candidate one-eighth of the electoral votes needed to win the presidency.
A great pair, Nebraska and Texas.

There are 50 great states in this Union, frank. Too bad some are overpopulated by idiot liberals.

Yeah, right.
March 1, 1867.
Nebraska became a state despite the veto by then-president Andrew Johnson.
I disremember what his objection was.

Alas, apparently my attempt at humor failed you, Frank....

I got it, but I had no comeback, so decided to get serious.

Yes, I love Sponge Bob. Don't judge me. For those that don't, don't bother watching (listening). hahaha
Junior Brown makes a little voice-cameo appearance at the end! He might of written the song actually. He's awesome, too.
Back to the pipe ~ k
(I think I'm going to make that my signature line! haha)
