I get it, why we have not recognized the rebels in Cyrenaica   Updated at 4:22 PM

And I am hoping somebody among nations states do so SOON. I get it, but talk of no fly zone... if we are going to get involved (and we are) at least do the non cowardly thing from the POV of international law AND recognize the rebels as the true government of Libya and pull that from Qadaffi.

Yes I know why nation states do not want to truly play popular kid in the neighborhood, but this would also give the rebels a certain set of benefits before the world community and that oil money could go to THEM.

Get a spell check bitch. Oil money can go to them? Benefits? When Reagan armed rebels i bet you were pissed. F you.

As NutDine pulled her self-soiled corduroys britches up under her arm pits, she set forth on a query of the Google Oracle, and became thusly enlightened:

To which She(it) came to the following conclusion:

Is it now copacetic to pay $7/gallon for gasoline, as the jug-eared Kenyon salivates over?

I'll settle for the VRWC biological agent that eats primitive asses, since that's where their heads continually reside. It's a win, win. One we get rid of those ugly folds of fat, and two, we get rid of anything resembling a brain they might have between their ears.

Is it because they haven't located the Rubicon yet?

For days the DUmp has been all atitter over Cyrwhatever, wondering when know-it-all nadin would look it up and apply her wisdom to it.

You do realize these people are eggin' on the Caliphate don't you? They want a muslim nation that will gobble up Europe and Asia in order to take us on! They want us to lose!

They want to offer up their necks to Allah just so they can tell us "I told ya so"!

Ignorant pricks!

The only bright side is several European leaders have already figured out that the game plan is to reconstruct the Ottoman empire and are now waking up to the problem that they face.

I think you nailed it Rus. I do believe that is the reason. They, the throwbacks, are practically all over Europe now.

And one of them is Nicholas Sarkozy.  The Fwench have a severe nationalistic streak in them when threatened by Arab interests, as evidenced by what they did in Algeria in the late 50s-early 60s.  Angela Merkel is another--we all know what the Germans can do if they feel threatened by an outside (ostensibly) force.

Only problem is Blue, they let the unwashed infiltrate them with some pretty good numbers already! Remember in France where the police wouldn't even enter some of the neighborhoods? I doubt it's any different nowadays.

Yeah, I know.  Do they have posse comatitus (sp!) over there?  If not, then Sarkozy could send in the French Foreign Legion.

No, they don't, but there would be a huge issue with using the Legion Etrangere inside metropolitan France, it's one of those things that really IS a 'Crossing of the Rubicon.'

But is it in Nadin's plot?

Seriously, what are the chances of her actually understanding the correct application of an historical analogy?

About the same chance of BO the First Dog being able to teach Calculus to Chelsea Clinton's cat.

It's a whole number, but it ain't an integer.

About the same odds as franksolich becoming Admiral of the Fleet.
