Impeach Justice Clarence Thomas For Ruling In Favor Of His Own Campaign Contributors
   

Could it possibly get any worse? It just recently came to light that
so-called "Citizens United", nothing more than a corporate sponsored
astroturf lobbying organization, the very same group he ruled in
favor of to decimate our campaign finance laws last year, was the
driving force in paying for and running ads to promote the
confirmation of Thomas himself to the Supreme Court.

I thought Supreme Court Judges were appointed for life.  Why would Justice Thomas be campaigning for anything?  :banghead:

The logic they use in this is akin to claiming that no State reps that belong to either party should ever be allowed to vote on reapportionment.

But this is important! If they can start a really powerful internet petition, and force them to throw Thomas off the court, then Kerry gets the seat, right?

Depends on who he faces in the special election. I think Al Franken would win.  :thatsright:
