Title: Boy, the Lounge is quiet today!!

What is everyone up to???

I just had to go pick my youngest up from school...he had been in the office 3 times already with a stomach ache...unusual for him.

My 12 yr old had baseball practice tonight, but the good news is I finally got some of jty's warm weather, so it should be relatively enjoyable!

Hi Flame! I'm doing schoolwork since my little one is with a sitter today and I need to get a lot accomplished since my daughter's bday is Saturday...she'll be 10 :bawl:

Started out really overcast and nasty this morning, but it's beautiful and sunny again now. The windows are open and I'm loving it...going to head out with my text in a bit and read outside. I really love this time of year. Fall was my favorite at one time, but now I think it's spring. Just love everything about it, even the thunderstorms(which I think is what we are getting tnight).

I suppose this is now the day thread.  :-)

TOTD: What's your favorite cereal?

I love Alpen or Raisin Bran. Weatabix is a close 3rd. I really don't care for the sugary cereals. I feel sick after eating them, just too much sugar.

totd:  Shredded Mini Wheats, brown sugar/cinnamon flavor...but I don't eat them in a bowl with milk, I munch on them dry while I drink my ht tea.

Regular plain ole cheerios.

My wife eats this high fiber health stuff that looks like someone has scooped up a bowl of forest detritus and poured milk over it.  *shudder*

I just made reservations to stay at a beach condo Saturday thru Wed. at the redneck riviera. I like Orange Beach AL better than Pensacola, Destin or Panama City FL. My procrastination was rewarded because reservations made today were 25% less than yesterday. Woot.

TOTD:  I'm a fan of almost all cereals.  It just depends on my mood.   These days, I love Honey Bunches of Oats.  :)

Would I still get the deductions? :-)

Make the adoption final on December 31, kick them out Jan 1 and get a full year deduction. Repeat the process next tax year.
