Why I'll be voting for Obama

I've hardly kept my disappointment with Obama a secret, but as I watch the republican House in action, and anticipate the almost certain loss of dem control of the Senate, I'm reminded that disgusted as I am by more than a few Obama policies, I positively shudder with horror at the possibility of a republican President and a Republican controlled Congress. Do I trust Obama to use the veto pen? Oddly enough, I do when it comes to many issues. Do I trust any republican president to veto, say, the elimination of the EPA or the Dept of Ed? No. Not for a nano second.

And there you have it.

Yup, just like always you DUmmies come home to Obozo. Does not matter how many times you bitch and moan.
:whatever:

I've always preferred to have a president of a different party from the majority in congress, but given what happened the past two years, we need a solid conservative majority in the congress and at the minimum a fiscal conservative in the WH.

I was just about to post this one from the DUmp, then I saw it stickied here. It's really not that big of a surprise knowing cali that she's going to vote for Obama yet again. What I thought was strange is that she's aware enough to concede a 2012 turnover in the Senate.

Of course, the stupid is continuing in that thread:

5. Obama is a centrist.
He always was. An exceptionally smart, pragmatic centrist. And that's fine with me.
You and maybe MaO.

I was about to ask if kstewart33 was really stupid enough to believe that, but when I saw that he has 1000 posts on DU, that answered my question for me.

Isn't that post just precious? The word smart and Obama should never be used in the same sentence! He's proved to me over and over, that he's about as smart as a 3 year old askin' mommy if it's ok to eat the yellow snow!

AR, he did get a majority of the country's voters to vote for him last time.  So, he did prove his intelligence.  The problem occurred when actually running the country involved something called common sense.  Of this particular quality, he has none.  Naturally, because lefty theories work oh so well in the classroom but fail miserably in the real world, it has been proven that his election was a massive fail for the United States of America.

Well, I have to say, winning a majority in an election is a lot of things, but it isn't proof of the candidate's super high intelligence.  Obama's not a stupid guy, I didn't say that, but we really don't have any evidence at all to support the Leftie's child-like faith in the proposition that he's the super-Ginsu knife of sharp things in the drawer.

He didn't prove any such thing in getting elected.  He proves over and over again the "intelligence of those who pulled the lever chain for him, however.

DAT and D6, he did dupe a majority of this country's voters.  That's got to count for something.  WIll he be able to pull it off again?  I doubt it.  The independents who voted for him last time are either goign to sit this one out, or are going to vote for his Republican opponent.

A potato that reads well, is good-looking, and has the whole MSM and the entire Democrat operation and its kingmakers at his back and doing all the dirty work would probably have beat McCain, who campaigned like he was ready to either become a Democrat or was working on his concession speech for 'way too long.

I do think Obama is pretty intelligent, though not nearly as smart as the leg-tingling crowd wants to believe, but he lacks any experience whatsoever in cutting off the cogitation and getting to a conclusion, then implementing it, and the OJT at his current employer doesn't seem to be going too well.

That I will agree with.  He's so steeped in Marxist theology that he has a total detatchment from reality.

We are so screwed if he wins re-election the way that Reid did in Nevada.

He has the thugs, (the unions), teachers (and their students), Acorn (community organizers), black panthers, the democrat slanted news media, leftist leaning hollyweird, unlimited foreign sources and a billion dollar slush fund. And he has all the levers of power and the perks that come with occupying the White House.

Never in the history of the country has anybody ever had such incredibly huge (and corrupt) resources while he and his supporters hold this country in contempt. This fact is not to be trifled with.

I beg to differ! It doesn't take much intelligence to lie like dog and tell everyone "you're racist unless you vote for me"!

But, if the independents didn't believe in the guy, they would say they voted for him, but when they went into the booth, . . . they wouldn't.  Sure, the race card worked on a couple weak-minded people, but it won't work again.

It worked once, and once was too damn many!!! That's more than I thought it ever would, so I'll wait and see.
