He'll have a better life in prison than he would in Somalia. I wish he'd been killed along with his fellow criminals though, save the people of NY some money.

True and true. I agree on both accounts. Not only do we have to worry about the throwbacks and the communists inside our own government. We also have to worry about the pirates now.

There isn't a world leader out there fit to fill President Jefferson's shoes, that's for sure. :banghead:

You know what they used to do to pirates, they hung them.

If they ever made it back to a port. More commonly, they were just shot/stabbed/gutted and tossed overboard to the sharks by the capturing captain.

They'd also keelhaul pirates.

They'd also keelhaul pirates.
Talk about death by slow torture. Usually keelhauling victims weren't lucky enough to drown (ships then weren't as long as they are these days), so it would be flayed alive by all the barnacles, lots and lots of fetid salt water in the wounds, and 3-4 days to die of the infection.
"I miss the old punishments". :-)

Unless their bodies were split in half by water rushing into the bow of the keel. Sounds just fine to me. Shark bait! :exactly:

Pirates hijack 4 Americans; US mulls responses
The United States government on Saturday said it was assessing possible responses after Somali pirates hijacked a yacht with four Americans on board in the Arabian sea off the coast of Somalia.
Pirates hijacked the yacht Quest on Friday, two days after a Somali pirate was sentenced to 33 years in prison by a New York court for the 2009 hijacking of the Maersk Alabama. That case ended in a spectacular rescue when Navy sharpshooters killed two pirates holding the ship's captain, Richard Phillips.

YUP! Let them get the "message". Mess with the U.S., this is what happens.
Now, tax payers have to pay to shelter and feed this scumbag for 33 years?

Yes, and the DOJ thinks it's some kind of frickin' triumph. The little jackwagon's guilt was unquestionable from the git-go, it required all the finely-honed legal skills of the Rick Moranis character in Ghostbusters to convict him.
Now he gets what his fellow Somalis would regard as a frickin' Lotto prize, 30 years of free room and board with first-class medical care and all the time to contemplate surra from the Koran one man could possibly want.

Are we sure that the DOJ won't drop the charges like they did in the New Black Panthers voter intimidation case?
They had that case won, too.

Not if the Aryan Brotherhood gets a hold of 'im!

Just goes to show what side of the issue these red diaper doper babies, Holder and the imposter in the White Mosque are on.
