Texas, facing the typical budget shortfall of every state under this regime, is considering releasing inmates who are costing taxpayers a fortune in medical bills. These inmates, if released, would pose no future harm to the public at large. Sounds like a pretty good money saving idea to me. No reason to hold some of these folks until the day they die.
But, OH NO, who will take care of them once they're released? WHO WILL PAY FOR THEIR HEALTHCARE???
Here's an idea. If you're 65 or older, go on Medicare. It's good enough for my parents, who, by the way, HAVE NEVER BEEN IN PRISON. If you're under 65, um, PAY FOR YOUR OWN HEALTHCARE LIKE I HAVE TO. Can't afford it? Fine, your family should have to pay for it.
I'm sick and tired of this sense of entitlement from the left. Now it's gone all the way down to the scum of society!

They probably preyed on the old folks when they were young. Sooo, now it's their turn to be the victim...turn about is fairplay.

I agree 100%. What did old prisoners do 50 years ago? THEY MADE DO.
-
What do they think inmates who are released at the end of their sentence do? Sick or otherwise.

Or they died. Either is acceptable.

Who cares? Choices have consequences, and their choices led to the consequence of not having Medicare to fall back on. **** em.

Have you tried google?

I really don't know. The only post-conviction work I do is to try and get another conviction. :naughty:

Yeh, google is great!
