Israel needs to cozy up to some country with a backbone and quit trying to get support from our government, especially with Obama at the helm. He's as likely to support their security interests as he is ours in Arizona. :fuelfire:

Not sure if that's the case, AR, but one thing I can tell you--American arms manufacturers, I would think, wouldn't be so stupid as to sell our latest versions of all of our weapons. For example, the latest F-15E Strike Eagles (with some stealth capability), or the latest F-16 Fighting Falcons.

Way back in 1977, we sold f-4 Phantoms to the Shah of Iran. When the Ayatollah took over, certain "componets" for the jets were "mysteriously" missing and the jets were nothing more than great looking
additions to an Air Force runway. I have sneaking suspicions that the same will happen with Egypt.
