Title: Hi5 and bitchslap...
Post by: Flame on April 07, 2008, 06:30:54 PM
I think we need cool smilies for those, instead of just typing in boring old Hi-5 and bitchslap.

Smiles are freaking ghey.  I am thinking I need to start a campaign against them, like crabs, lice and liberals.  And don't try to smuggle them in as IMGs.

Good old Conservative Republican character-based smilies -- good enough for me under Reagan, good enough now.

The future keeps moving on into the future and as they do, things change and evolve.

Smilies started out as matchstick men and now they have evolved into full blown cartoon characters.  Who knows, in another 20 years, they'll be doing our taxes.

Anyway, they serve a purpose and it is always a mistake to cling to the past.  We take the best parts of the past and bring them forward and forget the rest.  Cartoon smilies are text smilies brought forward.  I think they enjoy their evolution and probably would fight you kicking and screaming if you tried to take them back.  It would be like doing this:  :banghead:

Anyway, no one can go back to the past so it is like fighting a battle that cannot be won because it cannot truly be fought.  So, it is like fighting a battle that cannot be fought.

BTW, that's just the style page, the real code is much, much longer.

I think we need cool smilies for those, instead of just typing in boring old Hi-5 and bitchslap.

My $.02.

How about this one:  http://i31.tinypic.com/vilh0k.gif or http://i26.tinypic.com/jfvn6s.gif

 :cheersmate:

Then the future is gehy.  And I embrace non-gehy technologies like Bs and H5.

Then the future is gehy.  And I embrace non-gehy technologies like Bs and H5.

I think we need cool smilies for those, instead of just typing in boring old Hi-5 and bitchslap.

My $.02.

How about this one:  http://i31.tinypic.com/vilh0k.gif or http://i26.tinypic.com/jfvn6s.gif
