Oh the outrage! I think we may be on the verge of a revolution.
Of course, it's all because some skinny girl flubbed some lines in a song sung at one of the most over-blown spectacles known to man. Apparently someone forgot to tell her our National Anthem is sacred and there is only one way to sing the song. If I hear one more person show more concern for how a song is sung rather than demonstrate concern for the nation and the people it supposedly represents, I am going to vomit. Concretizing symbols is a pet peeve of mine. Then again, I started the day in an irritable mood so that could have something to do with it.
Pacifist and you wanna revolution? Next.

I've given up believing that "progressives" will ever be able to actually care about those of us on the bottom of the ladder. You are right.... so many other little things take priority.

Bobbo the Hobo doesn't want to do that--that requires work. What Bobbo wants is for the government to take the rungs out of the ladder, so it's crowded on the bottom rung.

Sometimes I think talking about her perpetual homelessness is Bobo the Hobo's version of foreplay. Obviously she gets off on being DU's resident bottom feeder, else she'd do something to lift herself up or at the least take one of the the hand ups she's been offered. Of course, when you've engaged in mental masturbation for so long another person in the mix just complicates things.

I'd say, "Yes, He is shaking His Head." The thing is, He loves us so much that He will not interfere in our lives--unless we ask Him to.
That is the reason that Bobbo will forever be filled with vitriol--because said person will not ask God to help it.

A person of faith would say that even Bobo's life has some purpose, even if it is only being an example of 'What not to do' to everyone else. Personally I think she's just a waste of protoplasm.
