Golldurnit, I want to forget Reagan!!!!1
Yeah, of course we need to remember how racist and divisive he was, and how corrupt his administration was (more arrests and convictions in his administration than any other president), and his treason in selling weapons to a nation that had declared war on us while supplying that nation's enemy with weapons to fight them, and THE FACT THAT WHEN WE WANT TO WAR WITH THE SECOND NATION MANY OF THE GUNS WE FACED WERE GUNS WE HAD GIVEN THEM!!, and how he funded terrorists in Central America to destabilize the region, and how his foreign and domestic policies created most of the problems threatening to drag this nation under even now--deregulation, debtor nation status, immense debt, a declining production base, shrinking middle class, failed economic ideology, and on and on...
I come here to escape the constant hagiography and blatant mythology the media broadcasts, and to forget about groups like the Young Americans who oppose every attempt by a publisher or broadcaster to tell the truth about Reagan, forcing them to squash stories honestly critical of Reagan in favor of fuzzy-bunny stories to make him seem likable and effective. If I think of Reagan at all, I want to remember the recent Presidents Poll, where historians shove him further back on the list every time it comes out, and how people, until this recent wave of fake-nostalgia coming even from our own party, were finally starting to realize how much a fraud, a bigot, and a jackass he was.
But no, I come here, and every post is about Reagan! Stop it! Stop it, I beg you. NO MORE POSTS ABOUT THAT MONSTER! I WANT TO NOT THINK ABOUT HIM ANYMORE!! I want to forget his legacy, even if it looks sometimes like America may not survive it.

Hopefully in 2 years Obama will be stimulating the economy by collecting unemployment and we can start forgetting about him.

No question. Even though it was just a subterfuge to disguise his muslim belief, the jug-eared Kenyan sat through twenty years of Jeremiah Wright's hateful, racist rants. No one who isn't a rabid black racist could do that.
