Well, now, Kentucky's new Senator Rand Paul presents the DUmp with a dilemma. He's an anti-Semite, which pleases the DUmp enormously, but he caucuses with Republicans, which they hate. So what should be the standard democrat orothodoxy be with reference to Paul? What's the democrat postion on ronbots? They can't decide:

Rand Paul: Let's Stop Giving Israel All That Aid Money
Put this in your box of things you don't hear everyday: A Republican senator, a tea partier no less, is calling for the United States to loosen its connections with Israel. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told ABC News this week that if it were up to him, the US would stop sending foreign aid to what most Republicans consider to be the nation's most important ally anywhere.
"I think they're an important ally, but I also think that their per capita income is greater than probably three-fourths of the rest of the world," Paul told ABC's Jonathan Karl. "Should we be giving free money or welfare to a wealthy nation? I don't think so."
Paul, best known as the man who promised to bring the tea party to Washington, didn't say he feels any differently toward Israel than his Republican (and most of his Democratic) colleagues. He just feels that as long as the nation is in the deep debt hole its in, it's time to turn of the cash spigot to the country that 2012 GOP contenders are flocking to in advance of primary season.

Damn, I have to agree with him on that one! I don't want to argue Israel Palestine here, but IMHO Israel is a mature country who shouldn't be receiving U.S. taxpayer $$$$$'s.
Good for you Rand Paul, hope you stick to your beliefs on this!
On edit I want to add neither should Egyptian military!

Anyone who believes Rand Paul is a Republican is badly misled. Rand Paul is a ronbot nut who won the Republican nomination for senate in Kentucky. It's so unfortunate that the Republican tag is being applied to this paulista. The DUmp will take an even kinder view when he starts trying to defund the Pentagon.

5. I suppose he has no plans re: re-election...
because if he does, he can kiss them goodbye.
Third rail, Rand, you done ****ed up.
I fully agree with his take, but he is toast.
As long as he keeps the (R) tag, he will win in Kentucky.

13. he'll be re-elected easily, I predict.
but if he's not it won't be for this. It's but a small part of his push to make draconian cuts. I suggest you take a look at what he's proposing. this cut of funding for Israel is not some discreet proposal.

15. How many facts can dance on a brain the size of a pin?
Paul seems to have little grasp on history.
"free money" "welfare" There's a few examples of Paul's flawed thinking and shallow knowledge.
And how wealthy does a nation have to be in order to preserve its existence? When he can answer that about Israel I might give him more than these few minutes.

2010 being an exception with the 700+ seat changes, for the most part, an incumbent only loses his seat when they retire.
His reelection is assured.

Wait 'til 2012! If ya think the last one was a landslide, I predict we're gonna take a majority in the senate, the presidency, and add to the house! That doesn't even account for the in-state races! By shovin' legislation down our throats and triplin' the deficit our kids and their kid's kids will have to pay for, the Rats have shot themselves in the ass! Especially given their answer is to spend more money we don't have in order to "help" the Obiewan economy.
Better than 60% of America is flat ****in' fed up with these, "**** the next 2 generations, we're spendin' now", Rats!
ETA:
At least all my friends and neighbors are! Of course we all work, or have worked, our ass off to spend our time on the porch, to keep what we have without the Rats stealin' it from us.

Seeing that 22 Dem Senators, that are up for re-election in 2012, voted to keep the Health Care Deform a few days ago, the Republicans could get a fillibuster-proof majority in the Senate. That's all the Republicans need.
