Herman Cain I have enjoyed being a part of the WSB family for several years now. As I prayerfully consider a run for the White House, I must end my radio show. Tonight is my last show and you can stream online at 7 p.m. Eastern: http://streaming.wsbradio.com/_players/coxradio/index.php?callsign=WSBAM

Has he gone beyond the exploratory committee stage?

I would vote for Cain in a minute, if I thought he had a chance of winning.  I will watch him to see how his campign progresses

At this point in the game, it's better to support principles than electability. What's the point of electing a Dem-lite? Are we going to get what the country needs from a RINO?

No, I would say we are not, but I would also say that wouldn't a rino be better than the alternative.  Another four years of Obama, or Clinton, or worse.

Hmmmm, RINO or 4 more years of 0bama? You make a compelling argument. However, it is my belief that by Nov. '12 rolls around, 0bama will have a job approval somewhere around 30% and will be polling 10+ points behind whomever he's running against. Therefore, it's up to us to pick the best candidate, and not to let the MSM and Dems pick our candidate for us.

Ok, I'll match your prediction with one of my own: The Democrats will run an anti-American communist for President, not just in 2012, but every election year. This anti-American communist will demonize some aspect of his opponent. The Democrat candidate will make all sorts of promises to everyone except those who actually pay the bills that the gov't runs up.

Doc,
Your`s is the response I expected - narrow, conservative, devoid of rational ideas.

...as opposed to the insightful, intelligent "It's the Republican way."

I find you didn't state I was incorrect, which I will take as a stipulation of being correct.

Wow, fellow CCers, there's debating skills for you. Don't like someone else's premise, don't even attempt to disprove it, just state it wrong as "a given".

Any further tips on improving our debate skills?

This is worth the watch. It was done early last decade while Herman was the CEO of Godfather's in Omaha, NE. A brilliant Mathematician and CEO by trade debating a career Lawya with no business sense. ...and Clinton had him turned off in the end. Herman is the real deal.
